    A wonderful review of the history and making of the herds and cheese
    We signed up for a tour which including an overview of the herds used to make cheese, how well they are treated, the history and a tasting of the showcase cheese, caciocavallo. (Note, it is not at the main store in town and its a bit of a wlak from the store, so if you have a car, take it.) They were gracious hosts and you will have the ability to purchase cheese after the tour without having to visit the actual store in town.
    A great stop and one of our Agnone highlights.

    Worth the trip to Agnone
    Lorenzo Di Pasquo gave us a wonderful tour of his factory before we went to the store and cave. Their calciocavallo cheese is delicious, similar to provolone. It is a wonderful experience

    Cheese Heaven
    Great tour of the factory! Cristina from Palazzo Tour d' Eau gave us an amazing insiders look into how bufalo mozzerella is made. We even got to sample the finished product at the end of the tour...and we all looked great in our hair nets and shoe covers!
