Great personalised tour to see the highlights of the city while learning about Japanese culture and history. Our tour guide Naoko did a fantastic job showing us around Tokyo in an efficient manner, while the tour did not feel rushed. Highly recommended for first time visitors or those looking to experience some of the city highlights in a short period.

We are so grateful for the time with had with Kazu. From the start, he was in touch with us about our specific interests (history, connections to modern-day culture) so that the tour would be meaningful to us. He met us in our hotel lobby in Akasaka which made it super easy for us.

We navigated the subway system together (very helpful!) and visited the Meiji Shrine, Imperial Palace gardens, and religious/commercial sites in Asakusa (temple, shops) -- with explanations throughout.

Kazu also took a special detour to set us up for success after the tour was over, stopping at another neighborhood (Akihabara) to point out some good anime shops for our son.

A great tour, and a great "taste" of Tokyo!

No stars is more like it. My husband and I were very excited for this day trip. However, like many have said no communication from this company at all. I'm in Japan at the moment, day before we were to go on this excursion and just got notice that it was cancelled by the tour operator. No reasoning was given. We have been trying to call to find out and no answer. Save yourself the heartache of trying to rearrange and book something else last minute. Go with a different tour operator.

For a group of family and friends visiting a Megacity, this was the experience of a lifetime. Richie was a thoroughly engaging and accommodating person who started our night tour with a leisurely stroll along the River at Odeiba overlooking the Rainbow Bridge. From there, we drove to the Tokyo Tower and Ginza districts for photo opportunities. We weren’t really interested in shopping. After Ginza, Richie managed to find a parking spot within easy walking distance of Shibuya Crossing where we spent quite a lot of time mingling with the crowds and finding vantage points to photograph and video not only the torrent of people at the Crossing but the incredible light show emanating from the billboards.
From there, we found a local Japanese pub (Isakaya) for drinks and food in the Shinjuku district. The entire time, we felt totally safe, secure and comfortable. Thank you Richie and Outech for a memorable evening.

Our family had a wonderful day touring Hakone, Lake Ashinoko area.

Abdul was a fabulous driver & guide, providing us with a list of options at the start of trip to allow us to prioritize what we would like to do on the days itinerary. There are truly an enormous number of experiences in the area that could fill many trips but we settled on the Lake Ashinoka boat ride and cable rope way up the mountain. We got lucky with good weather and beautiful views of Mt Fuji. Our teens were so happy to mix the car ride with the ‘pirate’ boat ride on lake (worth the extra to pay for first class tix at front of boat, less crowded and better views) and cable car .. with lunch & souvenir shopping at top of mountain. Abdul dropped us off to do our own thing at the lake and rejoined us after lunch for pick up on top of mountain, which was perfect. He also dropped us off at Gore Park for traditional crafts (glass blowing/pottery) and at Hakone open air museum. Our whole family enjoyed the whole day. Abdul’s recommendations were incredibly helpful and trip was a wonderful day excursion from Tokyo. Very highly recommend! Thank you Abdul!

    Tour should entail a few
more sites-attractions for the price. Market was the best part of this tour. Temple was also amazing!

Communication could have been better - I had to initiate/engage for more info both times: once after I booked and a couple of days before the actual tour day (e.g. confirmation, itinerary). More pre-emptive contact would have been nice.

Day of was fine. I received whatsapp messages from the guide for figuring out a meetup location. Guide was helpful with loading our bags. We requested pickup from Yokohama port, a tour of Tokyo, and then drop off at Haneda airport which all worked out well. Due to traffic, we were only able to see 3 sites (spent about an hour at each) but that's not the fault of the tour.

Kenzo was an excellent guide. He reached out before our tour to enquire what was of interest and then proposed an itinerary for the day. One of the sights required a reservation, which he made for us. He was a great guide to spend the day with and showed us many wonderful things. Highly recommend!

This was the first day of our Japan trip. We were lucky enough (not lucky 😁) to have a lot of wind and rain! Arnaud was our tour guide and he did a great job under the circumstances; he was very knowledgeable and he made the tour so much fun!

Here are a few things we were able to see: Marunouchi Square, Imperial Palace, Asakusa Observation Deck, and Senso-ji Temple.

Arnaud went above and beyond helping us secure taxi’s in the rainy, windy weather. We would have been lost without him (literally).

We definitely recommend this tour and Arnaud!
