No trip to Curacao is complete without a visit to the Queen Emma Bridge. "The Swinging Old Lady" is a unique structure that adds to the charm and personality of the Willemstad waterfront. It's fun to walk across, but even more fun to watch open and close ... especially when a Coast Guard ship comes through the channel and you can see the sailors saluting the Governor's mansion as they sail past.

Here's an important hint. ... Don't just go to the bridge once. Make sure you have the time to visit both during the day and at night because it changes its personality greatly in the light of day and once the sun goes down and its brightly colorful lights come on.

Some nice shops and restaurants. Not a huge area, but you can spend some time wandering. Have some drinks, some food, take some photos in front of the signs.

The dolphin training show was very fun. Seeing flamingos up close was a great experience. The place is small, but lots to see behind glass and in the tanks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very nice experience and something different to see for a couple of hours. Not a place to spend a full day.

Nice tour with a lot of interesting information around the different “rooms” and why they are the way they are. Spoiler: there used to be water in the caves (a very long tima ago)! Also don’t forget to do the Indian Trail. It’s really nice to learn more about Curacao nature

This was one of our favorite things that we did on the island. we got there early in the morning, paid $15 each in cash, and climbed up to the first Boka. We started walking towards the next one…. (Natural Bridge). Very windy, hot, but amazing. We used the driving road to walk back to our car, and then drove to the other Bokas. The road to Boka pistol was eyebrow raising for our little compact rental car, but doable. Boka pistol was our favorite… entrancing to watch. Take water, drive don’t walk, and be ready to witness the power of the sea!

This was a great experience. There were some students at the museum when we went. I think they were there for a school project. I don't think they were taking their assignment seriously but hopefully what they experienced will seep in later in life. As an African American, I found the exhibits that detailed how slaves were punished or tortured very hard to endure. I heard another patron telling their companion about a time when they took a child to the museum and the child was overwhelmed by the theme of the museum and began to cry. Slavey is a heavy subject but must be discussed at some point. I also found the bottom portion of the museum which was made to resemble a slave ship very disturbing. I tried to picture how the people transported in those conditions must have felt. It was not a good feeling. This is not the first slave museum I have been to but it is better than those I have previously visited. I loved the restaurant/bar in the courtyard of the museum. We stopped for drinks. I fell in love with the mural by the bar.

This is a very popular tour with cruise ships. We were a big group and there was another tour group behind us. It is a quick but entertaining experience. I took pictures of the birds that were attracted by a feeder. Even saw a beautiful saffron finch. They have small shop at the exit where you can get souvenirs and buy their liquor.

Nice beach, party atmosphere, lots of seating and food options... can be a bit intimidating if not a social butterfly. Water is lovely

Great place for restaurants and shopping. Did not use the beach or facilities but it was beautiful and seems to be a happening place.

Safe to walk around and plenty of parking during the day. Shops don’t open super early and most close before 6 pm.

There needs to be better animal welfare throughout the island. There are a lot of emaciated stray dogs around, that nobody seems to care much about.

Nice beach, access and chair rental a little more than some places but it was nicer than some of the other beaches too. Worth it if you’re staying a while, a bit expensive if you’re beach hopping.
