What travellers are saying
- Connor W1 contributionAmazing hike. A must-do in Dominica. The views are amazing. Mountains, the sea, clouds, hot springs, and of course the world-famous Boiling Lake. If you love a mountain adventure and spending some sweat to get your reward, you'll love this hike. This is the coolest volcano experience I've ever had. Give yourself a good part of the day to do this. We had a top-notch guide show us the way with a couple of great stops along the way. I highly recommend you use Chadi for this hike and many others in Dominica. He's a great guy, knows the island better than anyone, and truly loves sharing an authentic Dominica experience with his guests. Give him a shout for some world-class hospitality and adventures in Dominica: +1 767 612 4506.Written 26 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BigMerkGlasgow, UK2,707 contributionsI visited here as part of an organised Princess Cruises tour. The bus parked in a small lot where there were rest rooms and some shopping (tourist stuff of course). Then it was a short (5 mins) walk across some uneven terrain including steps to the waterfall. Its twin falls so that’s always impressive and they come from a decent height. You can actually climb down (a few steps) to reach the water. Well worth a visit.Written 16 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- seanOregon, OH82 contributionsWhat a great park, we did this as an excursion from our princess cruise stop. The water fall is gorgeous and the pool is very refreshing! Nice hike through the park with lots of steps but safe and steady for all ages. Highly recommend this place.Written 18 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- AbandonedExplorerDominica30 contributionsThe hike took us about 45 minutes, its easy just a bit slippery in some places. The fog was making the hike so much cooler and the finale was just breathtaking.Written 1 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tipjeThe Hague, The Netherlands100 contributionsSo strange, when you come up, the wether changes and it becomes a lot colder, than at the beach, it is nice for a change if you stay longer at DominicaWritten 31 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - platinumice4shoFort Lauderdale, FL168 contributionsI love love love this place! So tranquil and beautiful. We took a tour to this park and it was well worth it, the guide was very informative and navigating the trail was easy. They say it takes about 15 miles to get to the emerald pool but we made it down there much quicker. There are also other trails available to do. The rainforest is in this park and there is so much greenery and rivers, it just takes your breath away. There were a lot of people at the Emerald pool when we reached it and the water was freezing! But so worth it. This is like one of those once in a lifetime experiences - a must do!Written 27 December 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JemK_imaBeau Bassin - Rose Hill213 contributionsNothing breathtaking here, but you'll have to cross the river on your way to and back from the boiling lake, and our guide told us in the morning it's Breakfast river, and evening the name becomes the Dinner riverWritten 19 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
