The saona Island and the pool were beautiful.
Now, keep in mind you get picked up by bus between 6 and 8am more or less and then go for another hour by bus to the other side of the island.
From there speedboat for 30mn, get in the pool for 45mn.
Then more boat and here you arrive to the beautiful saona island.
Turquoise water, coral, clean beach. Beautiful.
Then after 2h,go to catamaran for 1h30 and again bus back for 1h/2h depending on your hotel drop off

- Alex S3 contributionsWe had Joel as our tour guide and he was brilliant! We had accidentally booked onto a German only tour but he adapted everything around us made us feel very included. In between each location the coach drives through small towns and villages and Joel tells you all about the location you drive through with great depth and knowledge.
There isn’t a great deal to do at the first location(mountain) but it makes for great scenic photographs, the second location was the jungle waterfall and lunch where we got to swim, taste hand made chocolate and had a very tasty lunch.
Our favourite was the third and last location where we hopped on a boat through the mangroves to a cave and got to see cave paintings from ancient settlers. The monkeys were absolutely adorable, and our guide, Eddy, along with our driver, Perez, were the sweetest and made the experience even more enjoyable. We loved every moment of our day there! - Gary L25 contributionsMy wife and two daughters ages 24 and 25 booked the semi-private, 16 persons or less, 4 hour tour. It included a shuttle pick up and return from our resort in Cap Cana. The shuttle ride was in a nice, air-conditioned bus. When we got to the beach we were greeted by the two crewmen, David and Al. We hit it off with them right away. we were led to the beach and our catamaran pulled up and we were helped up on board. The boat was beautiful clean, and had a well stocked bar! We then met our captain George. Then we set off on what was a truly amazing day. The day, scenery and water were all beautiful. We cruised for awhile and both David and Al welcomed us, told us about the locations, mixed us great drinks, and were so kind.
We tied up at a coral reef and snorkel for an hour with David in the water guiding us. we saw and fed hundreds of fish. It was great! When we got back on the boat we all, who wanted to, jumped, dove, did back flips and just swam and had fun! We then cranked up the music and danced and sailed again. Al and David kept the amazing premium drinks coming, and actually made fresh guacamole on the boat for us to eat.
We sailed to a famous pool where other boats where we anchored and jumped into the waist deep water. They brought out a floating bar and a paddle board and we spent a fun time swimming, paddling and enjoying the vibe! Another Happy Fish boat was anchored near by and we got to meet their crew and guests and had fun!
After the pool we spent time back cruising on the water again before sadly, our time came to dock. I can't say enough how much our family enjoyed our time, and how fabulous our crew, who quickly became our friends, David, Al and George were. I would highly recommend them and Happy Fish tours. - Raymond B2 contributionsThis tour greatly exceeded my expectations! Robinson (or Robertson) was our tour guide and he brought a level of energy that made the tour twice as fun. We made several stops throughout the day and I think we had more than enough time to enjoy each location. David was an excellent driver as well! I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the other side of the Dominican Republic. I lost my ring in the lazy river and a staff dived in and searched until he found it!! - SM SHyattsville, MD1 contributionKitson & the "crew" were awesome! Very nice, informative, helpful and patient. We definitely had alot of fun. For my 1st time this was extraordinary! I now want a 4x4, lol. One downfall, 2nd stop...coffee house felt like hustlers gouging you for money, no Bueno. They overcharged my credit card for purchases that were grossly overpriced anyway and they made my aunt feel like she hadn't given them the correct amount of cash. My suggestion, don't purchase ANYTHING from there. Bit if you do, use cash & pay close attention! Love, Love Loved the photos!
