One of the best snorkeling excursions ever. The captain and his crew took great care of us. There was only one other boat in the area while we snorkel for over an hour with Marvel guiding us through the sculptures and their meaning. Great lunch on the beach with a swim and an hour of relaxation. Easy in and out of the marina and a short 10 minute ride to Sandals Resort. Highly recommend

An attractive air-conditioned shop/cafe with lots of very tasty chocolate (bars and individual sweets) for sael and a very intersting and entertaining presentation on chocolate production.

Informative tour of the gardens, followed a delightful tea and cakes. Beautifully calm and a real joy. A house straight out of a Du Maurier or Christie novel.

Try the blue tea and seville orange juice.

Lovely secluded beach. Views are great. Quite rough the day we went so not able to swim. There is a car park and a beach bar.

Very bustling part of Grenada. Lots of shops and culture in the Carenage. Beautiful boats and local culture!

We visited mid morning and there was only 2/3 others there which was lovely as it meant we could take pictures without lots of people in the falls.
There are the jumpers who will jump from the highest point for a donation of $20.
The falls are in a beautiful spot and are very picturesque.
Unless you choose to swim you won’t spend a huge amount of time here, although there is a bar / restaurant if you choose to stay longer.

Well worth a visit to appreciate the views, both over the town and inland. The town views encompass the new government house, the harbour and the town itself. Views inland give Mountain Views and were the direction the guns were directed. Fort is worth a wander giving an idea of the fortifications on the island and indeed the region. There are toilets!

Completed by the French in 1710 and taken over by the British in 1763 following the French and Indian War (Seven Years War) fought for control of territory in the New World. It was also the site of the end of the Grenada Revolution in 1983. Fort George offers commanding views of the town, harbor and the surrounding coast. It is a modestly strenuous hike to get up here. It is worth visiting for the views alone. However, I deducted a point as the views are a 5 but the way the facility is managed is a 2. The Fort is getting renovated and most of it wasn't open for touring. Only a couple observation points were accessible. However, this did not stop them from still charging an entrance fee without informing me about the closures. When I politely requested by money back after returning to the entrance, I was rudely disregarded.

We were lucky to arrive when the tasting shop was quiet (no coach tours around) so we could enjoy a relaxing tasting session and listen to the barman explain about the myriad of rums to try. You get to select 5 for $5. After that you can buy your favourites to enjoy later.

It is a small museum with information on the Kalinago people.
A collection of potytery, cannons, copper, battles between the Britsh and French and many items closer to today in age. Items from the 15th to 20th centry.

Large trays of cocoa beans dry in the sun, which the workers turn with their feet. Inside, a local provides samples and descriptions of all the various spices. Don't forget to stick a buck or two in her tip box. Pretty cool to see where the spices originate. Restrooms are in back of the main building.
