Ok, this was probably our best best memory from our trip to St. Kitts. My wife and I had such a great time on the trip over and we started several conversations with other couples and family's on the trip over. The crew had this big lecture about being late to the meeting spot on the return to St. Kitts, and the point of emphasis was that they would leave us. Yeah Yeah, We kinda shook it off and got a little absorbed in things to do on our Nevis trip. Terri looked up and our boat was leaving. We were finishing our drinks on Nevis and she took off running and tried to wave down the boat. I was still a bit skeptical about the boat actually leaving us. How dare they! When I finished paying the check I looked back and Terri was waving frantically at the boat, which was accelerating towards St. Kitts. I raced to catch up and thankfully the boat slowed down and eventually started reversing back to the beach. Whew! we boarded and there was a lot of finger-pointing going around. Apparently, most of the other passengers were cool with coming back to get us, but one couple (actually the dude in the couple) said "chuck um off the island". So technically we got booted off the island, but to our benefit, the benevolence and kindness of the crew overruled this dude's opinion. I saw this guy several times over the remaining few days of the trip and we got a LOT of laughs out of the event and we ended up having a great time together later. It was s all so much fun, and the crew and management of the Blue Water Safaris was amazing.
If you go to St. Kitts, put this trip on your to-do list. You will not be disappointed.
