We took the full day tour of the bays with Paraíso Huatulco. They picked us up promptly & dropped us back at our hotel. The boat ‘Diosa del Mar’ is comfortable, in great condition & holds about 40 passengers. My hat blew off as we were leaving the dock; the captain & crew did their best to retrieve it before it sank to the bottom! Their efforts were most appreciated. The entire crew was great, offering beverages along the way & always making sure the passengers were doing OK! Our bilingual tour guide, Jose, was interesting & informative about the sites & bays along the way…we saw a humpback whale! We stopped at Chachacual & Maguey Bays for swimming & snorkelling. At Chachacual they arranged for a panga to take all snorkelers to the reef. (I felt that $200 pesos for the use of an umbrella & chairs for 2 hours was a bit expensive, but we were a captive audience as there was no other shade. Not part of the tour!) We were able to grab a bite, swim & snorkel at Maguey. The food & drinks were good…the price what you expect to pay at a beachfront restaurant! Overall a great day. We’ll do it again when we return next year!!! Highly recommended for service, price & quality.
