    Great Way to Spend the Day!
    Promptly picked up at our hotel on schedule and stayed on schedule for 12+ hours. Anthony, our driver and tour narrator, was 5 🌟 exceptional. He was kind and friendly to everyone (24 people on our tour), easy to hear and understand, very knowledgeable, and upbeat about Vancouver and Victoria. The BC Ferry system is clean, interesting, and runs like clockwork. Butchart Gardens is beautiful and well worth the trip, possibly the nicest gardens we've seen. We also enjoyed Victoria walking and dining at the Inner Harbor, seeing the Parliament Building, and the famous and impressive Empress Hotel. A long day for sure, but an excellent value and experience for the money, and we highly recommend it.

    Don’t sit up front!
    We sat upfront. We couldn’t hear anything the captain was saying.. so we missed out on a lot. I gave a 4 because we did see whales and he seemed to have a good handle on where they would be, their behavior, etc.

    Discover Tours-a fantastic trip to Vancouver Island snd Butchart Gardens
    This was a first class tour! Ian is amazing! He’s a safe driver with a wealth of knowledge about all things Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Natasha was very attentive and communicated well. We loved them both! It’s a long day, but they took care of us. You leave early and get back after 9, but it’s so worth it. Make sure you take this Discover Canada Tours tour. It’s a small group in a tour van. Ian drove it right onto the ferry then right off. We had just enough free time to explore. We opted to walk to Chinatown. Nice walk. We can’t say enough good things about this tour and Ian and Natasha!

    Incredible day on the water
    We had an incredible day with Five Star Whale Watching for Mothers Day. The crew and staff were amazing and took great care of all the guests, you can tell they truly care. We saw a Humpback close to Victoria, plus lots of Porpoise! However, the crew checked if anyone had time restrictions and then headed off to where Orcas had been found, what a bonus. We encounter over a dozen Orcas , which the crew explained were socializing as there was more than one pod. The Captain expertly and respectfully navigated the vessel around the whales keeping the appropriate distance. The knowledge Naturalists provided incredible information about the wildlife we encountered and also the area we visited, so informative, educational and inspirational! We would highly recommend this company anyone visiting Victoria and wanting to go Whale Watching. Just remember they are dealing with Wild Animals in their natural environment. Incredible and memorable day on the water.

    By visiting Butchart gardens in the afternoon we missed the cruise ship crowds. Plan ahead for sites to see in Victoria, limited time.

    Time well spent
    Very enjoyable couple of hours with a very genial host who took the time to include everyone in the conversation and experience. Interested in people and knows his stuff about his town and local food offerings. Felt we’d eaten well by the end - would highly recommend this tour.

    Four long years!
    Way back in The Before Times (2019), I told a Seattle pal I'd go back to Victoria on my next trip up.

    Oops.

    I've traveled to Seattle twice since Covid, but the borders were still closed. This visit, I was determined to get back to B. C. no matter what the weather forecast was.

    Booking was easy, and boarding at the Seattle piers was a breeze. The trip over was smooth, and the skies opened up to brilliant blue skies dotted with fat clouds (some ominous looking, some cotton white).So much for the 87% rain forecast 🙄.

    Customs and immigration was quick (it was a Wednesday, and I was day tripping).

    I explored outside of the harbor area, as I'd been to Victoria several times in the past. Lots to see, as always.

    The return journey was smooth, from customs and immigration to the ride back. We slowed down briefly for a pod of orcas (I saw a few fins!) but got into Seattle ahead of schedule.

    Whether you're going for the day or longer, the journey is comfortable. I especially loved the bottomless refill cup of coffee. It was a cold breezy day, but I took advantage of the rear deck and enjoyed the briny breezes and the views.

    Hard to believe how much we took for granted has changed. 🇨🇦🛳️

    Convenient and easy!
    Convenient pick up and drop off locations, easy to purchase ticket to the gardens ahead, at the bus, friendly staff and bus driver provided great and interesting information. Bus was on time and also appreciated option of several return times if you wanted to spend a little longer at the park.

    Hawaiians in Victoria BC
    This was an awesome tour! Joe had great energy, enthusiasm and knowledge of the city! She took us to 7 fabulous places that gave us a wide variety of foods, textures, tastes! We were wowed the whole time and stuffed by the end! I would totally recommend this tour!

    Half day whale watching
    The whole experience was fantastic! The crew was great! Saw amazing things! Would recommend this experience to anyone! Worth every penny! A once in a lifetime experience!

    Such a beautiful experience
    This was a fun experience, the boat can travel very fast. They supply you with a splash suit, hat and gloves if needed.
    The guide was really interesting and explained a lot about the whales and other wildlife. We saw some humpback whales first and then we saw some orcas, it was so amazing to see them in their natural habitat, so majestic.

    Victoria and Butchart Gardens in a day
    We wanted to visit Victoria and Butchart Gardens but only had one day to do it from Vancouver. This trip for the bill perfectly. This is not a sightseeing flight. But, in 35 minutes in a very pleasant flight, we landed in Victoria. It’s a short walk to the motor coach that delivers you to Butchart Gardens. The driver was very informative. They allowed about 2 hrs at the Gardens. Plenty of time. Had lunch back in Victoria then flew back to Vancouver.

    Fantastic Tour!
    Highly recommend! The crew was so kind and knowledgeable. The focus of this company on conservation and connecting with animals while respecting their space is wonderful. And their respect and admiration for the First Nation tribes that share their lands with us is refreshing.
    Our trip was so much fun! We saw harbor seals and their pups, Stellar sea lions, bald eagles, cormorants, and a humpback whale named Smiley who hung out feeding not too far from us for a good long while. It was so beautiful!

    Best way to spend your time in Victoria!
    Best way to tour the city! Hannah was a great guide and Ike was a gracious host! We rode through the streets and learned all about the city of Victoria and it’s history, to the envy of other visitors on rickshaws lol. We loved the tour through the park and even saw deer! We saw peacocks and the largest seagull (ever) on our way back to home base. Highly recommend this one for something fun and different!
