Smooth and doesn't seem as high as you read - Just like a normal gondola, nice to have ridden it, given the amazing engineering! If concerned, don't be like I was, sit relax and you're there!

Brandywine Falls are just a 15-minute drive south from Whistler.

The carpark was big and it had plenty of space when we visited. The falls themselves are roughly a 15-minute easy walk from the carpark.

Sadly, when we visited the weather was very wet. However, this didn't stop us from having a look, and to be honest, sometimes things look better in bad weather than they do in glorious weather!

Friendly folks at the passivhaus (got lessons and rentals there too) and a beautiful day — mostly went around Lost Lake because we are beginners but lessons made it easy and fun.

This is a well maintained place that provides great information on the First Nations that shared Whistler as a home. Strongly recommend taking the free tour that offered, as it brings a better perspective on what you see. We also enjoyed the cafe that offers food with traditional ingredients.

It was like being in a painting. Absolutely beautiful. The first lake is so accesible that my 2 year old was able to walk with us comfortably.

The easy/better way to get to the train wreck is to turn off Hwy 99 at Cheakamus Lake Rd then go right on Legacy Way and turn right onto Janes Lake Rd to either parking lot. Go to sign for Train wreck follow trail & sign. Go over suspension bridge and your there.

We were absolutely astounded by the work of artist-in-residence Manabu Ikeda. We almost left Whistler without stopping at the museum, but fortunately we made the last-minute decision to check it out. We are so glad we did!

If you are in town before Ikeda-san's exhibit ends in October, make the time to go. It is like nothing else you have ever seen. You can also watch him working in his studio on the weekends. Check the schedule for specific times. We had the good fortune to meet him, and it is something we will always remember.

The museum also has a great collection of BC artists' works. We enjoyed that as well, and will be sure to return on our next trip to Whistler. This was our first and we had no idea what a great museum this is.

Loved all aspects of this trail as a hiker and runner.
However one tiny Downsideto tranquility is the deluge of bikes. Fast moving electric bikes, crazy youths on mountain bikes and unsteady tourists cycling for first time in their lives.
All of the above, going too fast, churning up dust, driving crazy and not being respectful to other cyclists and walkers.
To avoid the deluge, go out early. Running at 0630 am no cyclist at all, walking after 10am they seem to come from every direction down from varòus tracks taking out less able walkers.

Nice and has a beautiful view. The bridge feels secure and steady. You get to have the opportunity to see unique views of the mountains and lakes.
