We spent an hour walking here and just scratched the surface. The one thing not available is a toilet facility.Written 30 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- WanderingNOTlostTigre, Argentina6 contributionsWatch carefully!! The trail is actually right at the end of the road as you drive toward the beach. Park on the side of the road and follow a well cut trail along the coast. Magnificent!Written 27 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shane T1 contributionPlease be cautious of going on acacia valley rd, it starts are a dirt rd and turns in to a Jeep trail as it heads towards sissabo rd. It is basically impassable unless you have a lifted vehicle, and it gets worse the closer you get to the end. Our full sized pick up with All terrain tires almost made it to the end at a slow pace(lots of large rocks) but came to a small stream that had a drop into it that would have left us high sided. And then the fun of turning around on a very small trail.Written 5 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Teresa N46 contributionsWe learned about the kayak rentals while walking around Digby. It seemed like a great way to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the basin. Matthew helped us tremendously in getting us ready with our lifejackets and helping us choose which kayaks would be more suitable for us. After warning us of the strong tides, he set us off in our double kayaks. We went kayaking on a very windy day. The tides were very strong once we rounded a corner and it was a struggle keeping our kayaks in line with the shore. Despite our difficulties, I'd say my family and I had a lot of fun. It turned out to be a very thrilling adventure! We'd recommend these kayak rentals to anyone looking for an adventure.Written 13 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GoPlaces623118528534 contributionsWe were on a 4 hour whale cruise today in foggy conditions, and the team on board was great. Mat as captain found the right place where we could see 7 humpbacks and could observe them for a longer time. the young marine biologist on board had so much knowhow about whales and the marine life, just great. And the other two crew members grew up on the island, are "twins" with the sea, work as lobster fishers during the fishing period and just know everything about the sea in this area. So just a great and young team. Good athmosphere on the boat, always supersafe, and great whale spotters.
whenever we come back, we'll choose this team again. Thanks for this unforgettable excursion.Written 10 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The staff were friendly at the reception desk. The captain looks like an old fisherman, he seems quite experienced. The whole trip was fine, the captain took about 1.5 hrs took us to the area where he thought the whales be around. We did see a few minke whales, the captain managed to chase the whale for a lil while to give everybody a chance to see it. Not so good for photo ops, nothing impressive, since the minkes are relatively small, we saw a few fins out the water. Along the way we saw a handful of dolphins or pilot whales from distance, since they were far away, can't really tell exactly what they were. We also spotted a few seals, again from distance. That's why I said nothing really impressive, since they all from distance, no close ups.
We finished the trip in 3hour and 45mins it was quite a long ride. The captain did a fair job, family was happy, bottom line we did see some whales.Written 26 August 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
