As is the usual case with Drayton Entertainment, the Carole King Beautiful musical was wonderful. The musical performances were excellent. It was interesting to learn when the various songs - old favourites, all - were written, what was going on at the time, in the lives of the composers and lyricists. Go early though to get parking. We were 45 min early and there were few parking spots left (more disabled spots would be welcome). Also, at the Hamilton Theatre, if you use a walker or wheelchair, you'll need to sit at the very back or get box seats (same price). Despite being quite new, there are steps right from the back to more than halfway down toward the stage.

A lovely place to spend an afternoon. Been visiting for over 20 years with my son. A special memory every time. If you’re lucky enough to go on a quieter day, the environment is so lovely you could spend several hours just watching the butterflies and birds in the solarium. We’re lucky to have such a gem here in this area!

Road cyclists should be mindful of gravel. We started from Cambridge where the gravel was smoother but it became more close to Paris.

At Paris, we stopped at the lookout spot by the dam which was breathtaking and had a quick tour in the small and cozy town of Paris.

Part of the area museum system,. McDougall Cottage is a small original stone cottage on the Grand River. Inside is small and well preserved, outdoors has a small but interesting garden. McDougall Cottage hosts a variety of special events, from the tiny quilt contest to the strawberry tea, to "piping down the sun".

Galt was illuminated with Winterfest installations making it a memerizing experience. There were about 30 installations to be enjoyed and it was just superb. One of the installations we enjoyed most was right in front of the bridge.

A great park for everyone. Play areas, sports areas, picnic areas and super nature hikes. Sit by the river or walk the boardwalk. Watch all the wildlife.

I go to Settlers Fork where the Grand and Speed Rivers meet. Ther is a walking trail with benches to sit and watch the slow moving rivers with lots of wild life.

An evening walk that we extended a bit resulted in discovery of this hidden gem in Cambridge. A beautiful place to spend your day as it has water body, trees, picnic area-one in all to spend a day with your family. There are hiking trails. play areas to name few other available amenities. We loved our evening stroll in the area and will visit again soon for a family picnic.

Small little park alongside Grand River. The trail is small but views of Grand river are just grand. Views of downtown, grand river wont disappoint you. Must see if you are in Cambridge.

Neat little museum dedicated to the history of fashion. Surprised the amount of displays and diversity of the displays. Takes about a hour to thoroughly take into the historical evolution. A bit expensive but can understand. Parking lots in the area

Stopped in with our little one for supper and a drink. The place is pretty big and well done. There is a large retail shop there also. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The food was just ok. We both got sick of eating our sandwiches about half way through (the dipping sauce for the fries was good on the sandwich though). The flavors on a their beers was interesting. A great place to go if you like experimenting with flavor.

It's hard to write about a place that no longer exists! It was one of the best microbreweries anywhere. Their Plowman's Ale, Millrace Dark, and longer ago, the Enigma Black Lager were among the finest beers you could find. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and the regular visits to refill the growlers were always a pleasure. When Magnotta bought the brewery the operation seemed to improve, but they closed it suddenly, saying that the brewing was moving to another location and that the beers would be available through the LCBO and their own store. The best ones have vanished and the LCBO no longer carries any. A sad loss of an excellent, popular and well respected brewery.

This park features an arena, soccer fields, ball fields,a small campground with a dumping station, a small duckpond with a mill wheel, a large children's playground along with a pretty good spray-pad. There are some animal pens which are mostly empty now there may still be peacocks I am not sure. This park has a city made outdoor rink in one of the parking lots. it also has some of the best sledding hills in the city with safe run off area for the kids but be ready to do a lot of climbing. A safe park in the daytime but be aware of the fact that there have been a few complaints of coyote's in the last couple of summers.

The mill run trail during winter when covered with snow and view of the tunnel and bridge is mesmerizing. The trails are amazing in a relaxed manner. It acts as a nice winter walk and does get cold in the winter months.
Great trail for dates, also at one end of trail, there is a gazebo and can have a nice chat or relaxing evening there.

Fantastic old arena. So glad that everyone puts the effort and resources to keep it open so future generations can see how much character old arenas used to have.
