Stopped for a tasting on our way to the border. Despite off & on rain, the experience was delightful. The family and the wines were very enjoyable! Highly recommend for a low-key but rewarding visit!

Vast pretty lake with good parking all round. The main building was closed, as were the rest rooms for some reason. Great area for walking and picnicking.

I found myself in rural Maine two hours from Sherbrooke with my passbook. I had one day on my schedule available, so I decided to spend a few hours in Sherbrooke. I highly recommend starting at the tourist info center on Kings to get the booklet and map and following the route to see the various murals and neighborhoods along the way. Winter might not be the best time for that, though. I will definitely return, when I have more than 5 hours to spend. Sherbrooke seems to be a wonderful place to be.

Beautiful & peaceful, a great stop along the way. There is a quiet, grassy walk with art work if you have time. Lovely view of mountains & villages.

For me a walk along the river gorge experiencing the spray from man-made rapids was the highlight of my visit to Sherbrooke, an otherwise rather concrete eastern township marred by excessive construction work.

This is a nice well-maintained trail along the Mephremagog River. Convenient to park at the Visitor Center, but you will have to use some stairs. You will be able to see the hydro electric plant near the natural history museum. A nice walk, especially for the shade during the summer

Uplands was built in the Georgian style in 1862 and served as a # home to three families over the next 125 years,
We stopped here for an afternoon tea. Being from the UK I have had quite a few afternoon teas and they did this one exceptionally well. The ladies (mainly local volunteers) were lovely. They served you with a smile and when we went to have a look around the house they were very knowledgeable about it too.
We were quite a large group and they opened just for us as it was usually closed on the day we visited.
Definitely a lovely place to stop, here about the history and have a lovely tea.

I was blown away by all that this museum has to offer! There was a temporary exhibition on circuses that was worth the visit, but the permanent exhibits were all wonderful, especially the interactive one on the geological history of the area, going back 250,000 years and more!

Have always been interested in seeing this building. Beautiful and yet simple, it's really a treasure. Drove there from our hotel on a Sunday morning early. Nobody was even awake at that point. Parked right in front. Took a walk down the stairs and was able to get some excellent shots. I would say to spend no more than a few minutes here. At times, there are performers that appear in front of City Hall drawing crowds of onlookers. Definitely a must see if in Sherbrooke.

Sherbrooke's own botanical garden! Take a quiet walk through the park and greenhouse and see the plant sculptures (a family of frogs) around the pond. The dragon awaits behind the greenhouse where you can also go through the japanese garden. And it's all free!

My parents always bring visitors to see the murals but it was the first time I happened to be there to tag along. It was good fun. The map is well done, so the murals are easy to find. Doing the circuit (we did the shorter one) makes for a good walk and you get to visit Sherbrooke at the same time. You're never too far from restaurants if you want to take a break.
The murals are very nice. There are also leprechauns and other animals/objects "hidden" in the pictures for children to find. We had a 7 year old with us who had lots of fun, and all the adults got caught up in the game as well. :)

Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of town without having to drive. They have beautiful walking paths and bike trails in the summer and the ski hill in the winter is great.
