Great day out. Very informative guide, Glen. Really enjoyed the bus and train trip. Could have spent less time at the gun and more at the light house. Good picnic lunch. Lovely to meet the quokas.

Our driver, Gordon's commentary along the ride about the history and science of WA was the highlight of the trip. We enjoyed the entire day. The only way it could be improved is to get some usable goggles for the sand boarding.

This was organised and pleasant regarding transport. Timely friendly no uglys. We overnighted on Rottnest island out and back with a just right fel to the Ferry abd bike service. The gripe we hve is that they combine bikes and snorkelling equipment with a $100 dollar bond. But the bike spring holders drop the good snorkelling gear, leading to distressing back tracks. We tried using our overnight back packs, but they are too small. My daughter and I loved the bike snorkel rest circle on Rottnest. First gear is too high even for fit people, on Rottnest hills. A basket, or fixing the holding springs and a Phone/GPS holder would help, not looking for fallen snorkel gear. This is handyman level stuff. For those overnighting on the island a great place. Wanting to to cycle snorkle resort. Fix up the bikes to hold the snorkelling gear and navigate. Consider bike up grades such as more gears for the fit or e bike for less fit or older. The service is nice effective friendly and timely. Make the bike snorkel combo work.

Great day.very easy with complimentary shuttle bus pick up from easy to find pick up point in city.If last tour like us it also includes return shuttle to Perth which is so convenient.
Our cray dog lunch was excellent and our Simmos icecream huge and delicious. We saw few Quokkas mainly around the cafe and old settlement buildings. Hop on off bus a little overcrowded we stayed on for the complete loop which proved best choice.
    Nice day all up.

Never been to an aquarium before.

Was really blown away by the glass tunnel & seeing giant rays , turtles & nursing sharks up close . Got some amazing video .

Went during the week to avoid crowds & kept going around on the moving circular route to capture more & more pics of these giant creatures !

The displays on the other floors are also worth seeing too . All the fish found around various waters of WA are fully explained in wonderful display tanks full of colourful coral .

There is also a rescue turtle talk given at certain times with a brief feeding session .

Worth the entrance fee for sure .

Absolutely beautiful views along the coast of island.
Was great to hop on and off the bus , you need to ask or press button for bus to stop.
We asked guide at start which stops would be best for us to get off at and glad we did her advise was great.
Loved our day and also did lots of walking at stops and between some short distance stops. 5/7.

Paul was great , we had a relaxed ride around the Swan River . He was very knowledgeable , filling us in with some of Perths history . The bikes were easy to ride and after a brief instruction we headed off . Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour ride , and could have done it all again straight away .

Several whales were located, but the boat was so overcrowded we only managed to get brief glimpses of them in-between the backs of other peoples heads and shoulders. The outdoor areas of the boat were only small so it was a fight to get an unobstructed view. I think the boat is maybe more appropriate for ‘people carrying’ and transport rather than whale watching. It’s a shame but I probably wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re tall and happy to fight for a good view.

It is hard to only give 3 stars for such an awe inspiring experience as we saw a number of Humpback. The problem was that the vessel used is the rottnest island ferry and they are not the best for viewing these magnificent animals. The setup is for ferrying people not viewing on the deck.

Being interested in history this was a must for me. The train was not running so a bus replaced it; no issue really. We done the tour with Ian, it was very enlightening and comprehensive. You get to explore the full complex!
