- BethChick9259 contributionsCame here for a spa day, really enjoyed it
The facilities were great, the lady at the bar was very friendly and happy when bringing drinks down to us at the pool side.
Afternoon was very nice, the fillings in the sandwiches were very full! The scone was warm and the cakes were alright but I’m not a big cake lover
The two treatments I received were amazing. Probably one of the best massages I’ve had from a spa!
Would definitely recommend and returnWritten 28 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We went to the little cafe rather than the communal dining area.
I am vegan these days and there wasn’t much on the menu, though I must admit I didn’t study it in depth as my eye was drawn to the Fattoush. I love salads and, when it came, I was impressed by the quantity. It was delicious and was full of fresh herbs. There were a couple of pitta breads on the side which were OK but I would have preferred them to be wholemeal but this is just my personal preference. The coffee was good and my friend also enjoyed her meal.
The service was quick and friendly though it wasn’t that busy when we arrived. By the time we left the cafe was full but we weren’t rushed out of our seats. The cafe has a nice relaxed ambience and I would visit again. Afterwards, of course, there are some beautiful shops to visit to complete a pleasant day out.Written 14 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Friendly locals, the walk itself is petty it takes you through farm land and quiet country lanes. It is flat and easy to follow as there are finger posts to help/direct you. There is plenty of local wildlife and it is a dog friendly route. You can walk it in either direction, you can make the route as short and long as you like. The full loop is approximately 7 miles long altogether. Overall a nice walk!Written 12 September 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James S9 contributionsSo let’s get one thing perfectly clear this is first and foremost a complaint. I got a lot of chocolate over Christmas however, I’m semi regular customer with Paul and his chocolate is far superior than anything store bought. My issue is now anything else I eat just seems disappointing. So now I’m stuck as a return customer.
TLDR: Choc Amor is excellent, flavours are on point and far far superior than anything store bought or even from other chocolatiers. Try it you’re just going to have to trust me.Written 8 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Activities are all fun and challenging, Staff are really informative and went above and beyond to look after us all.
