A wonderful family run enterprise offering award winning wines produced in Kent! It shares the same soil as some of the French vineyards and as our summers have been warmer of late the vines have yielded some truly exceptional wines.
The setting, Burnt House Farm, is steeped in history, that dates back over 500 years. The dovecote is particularly worthy of note.

Look at the old roof beams, especially the curved crossing at the transept.
Chartham is lovely village, also visit the station when a train comes. Watch level crossing keeper closing the gates!

A good walk, although muddy in parts after the rain. Recommend wellies in winter. Worth visiting at different times of the year. Cannot wait to go back in spring

The walk up to No-man's Orchard from Harbledown is full of a history you can feel. The open landscape and hill where a pre-Roman encampment was settled puts you in touch with the local people who lived then, their imprint is still there. Then, you reach No Man's Orchard and what a peaceful place. An assortment of birds and sounds that are timeless, trees that are ancient and at atmosphere of peace to sit and meditate in or just enjoy. This is a place not to be missed. It is one of those places that calls you back to enjoy the walk and serenity you will find there.

Visited on Saturday 24th October 2020 (group of 4 adult friends). On arrival we parked up by a friendly team and explained how the event is running.

The farm is following COVID rules (even though we were outside) with NHS QR codes etc.

Wheelbarrows provided and you here you actually do pick pumpkins from a field – they are grown, rather than just placed!

Every staff member was genuinely friendly, the dogs outfits were brilliant, prices reasonable and they were offering a brilliant charity raffle.

Fabulous farm can’t wait to go back, I was even unsure if I should post this review as it’s so great I wanted to keep it a secret! But I want people to support British farming when you pick pumpkins!

Can’t rate this place high enough.
