Area leading to the lighthouse is almost out of a book, especially when the fog is rolling in. Staff at the lighthouse were friendly and great storytellers. Beautiful, easy trail on the edge of the sea to take in all the beauty.

The staff inside and on the boat are wicked awesome. Our ride aboard the Cat to Bar Harbor was smooth although foggy. The only thing I don’t care for is they make foot passengers wait to board last. However they are 1st off on the other end.

I watched a YouTube documentary by Part Time Explorer that highlighted The “circus ship inferno”. It’s about a fire that happened right in Yarmouth during the 60s. The museum is featured heavily and has some artifacts from the fire.

The director (Gary) of the museum is a great guy with a wealth of info regarding early fire “trucks”.

It’s $5 to get in and the have a small gift shop and take donations as well.

Both the museum and the documentary are well worth your time. Free parking on Main st

This was such a great stop in just two hours, in just two hours I learned so much. It was a great place to bring my dad. He was a commercial fisherman from the US that docked in Yarmouth from time to time while they were sword fishing it was an opportunity for him to tell his stories and share with his family the guides at the museum were incredibly knowledgeable And were eager to learn from my dad as well. It was a wonderful day very reasonable admission too.

Frost park was a cemetery a long time ago. You can still see old headstones scattered throughout the park. The park offers great views of the waterfront and harbor. Lots of places to sit and relax. There’s also a 150 year old water fountain on site.

It was truly an amazing museum, they got a little bit for everyone there. It was worth the 7.00$ the flags that belong to the Steamship lines was a very nice touch. Please help support this museum.

We stopped in for beverages on a Wednesday afternoon. It was busy enough and we found a high top table indoors. There are lower tables and seating outdoors. Approximately a dozen beers were on tap. They also offer beer cocktails and three local wines. The prices are reasonable. My husband noticed their beers were of lower alcohol content. He likes double IPA's and ordered the Whiskey Business Dry Stout. I had a glass of L'Acadie Pinot Grigio. We were able to park on the street nearby. We noticed a food truck parked near the building. They regularly host karaoke, trivia and live music.

Two amazing looking beaches on both sides of the road to the Forchu lighthouse. The sand is a rather muddy at low tide. All the images are taken in heavy fog.

A true artists cooperative, on Yarmouth's harbourfront, the Yarmouth Waterfront Gallery boasts an extremely diverse collection of art works from a wide variety if disciplines from painting to photography to jewelry to fabric work. One of the coop members is always on hand to help you. A great place to visit on purpose, because of inclement weather, or if you're just waiting for the ferry. Free high speed WiFi too! Two thumbs up!

What an amazing little shop in Brenton. It is a must stop or detour for anyone interested in antiques. Shop Owner David is a Delight and curated the most amazing things; having a few specialties such as clocks, music boxes and Religious relics. You won’t be disappointed. There is something there for everyone. I found the most amazing New Mexico decorative pottery plates. Just so beautiful!!

It is only a 2.5 km hike from Yarmouth or you can drive to the lower part of Bunker Island and hike close to the lighthouse.

A step back in time and learn the history of the house, the inhabitants and the Fullerbrush Man. The tour guide was knowledgeable, the subject matter interesting. Luckily we were the only ones on the tour so we got to move through at our own pace. Well worth the small admission price, arrange your tour from next door at the Yarmouth County Museum. And tour it while you're here, its a great museum in an old Church.

The park is along water street near Tim Hortons. Nice little space for walking and reading the boards of Yarmouths history. Less than a miles walk from the ferry.

A great small beach perfect for a walk. It's long been a favorite for local artists and is home to the Helen and Lucy cottage.
