It was truly a delight to take the ghoulish tour with Candice. The stories were all very interesting. Candice's diction was clear and her timing impeccable. The walk gave us a glimpse of old Yarmouth from dockside to downtown. Highly recommended.

I had no idea what this boat tour involved. What a fabulous find ! My husband had simply suggested maybe a boat tour would be nice. So I agreed. I had only taken a picture of the advertisement sign on the wharf the evening prior and with no Internet service (camping) didn't do any research. Simply called in the morning to see if we could make the tour. What a surprise ! These guys are great !! A very well spoken and informative host ; wonderful captain; pleasant seating and just enough off shore fog(which disapated perfectly) , made for a terrific experience !!

The Port of Yarmouth is one of the four ports of entry to Nova Scotia for international vessels, including the CAT ferry from Bar Harbor, Maine. According to its website, it's located in the largest lobster fishing grounds in the world. The Old Government Wharf, also known as the Old Public Wharf, is also a part of the port. It's an outstanding port, with several large and small fishing vessels, with lots of history.
