The tour was great. My only complaint would be the Cliffs of Dover. We stopped at the Marina for 20 minutes. Barley enough time to walk down to the water and take a pic of the Cliffs way off in the distance. We got a better view when we drove past. Maybe another stopping point or a bit longer stop. It really was a waste of a stop. We are glad we took this trip. Learned a ton from our guide as well as having time to wander on our own. - Natalie A7 contributionsI travelled solo to England and decided to take this day trip. Pablo was my guide and he was incredible. He made me feel safe, is very friendly, funny and answers all of your questions. Spanish speaking people take this tour with him because he's bilingual so he seats those who speak Spanish at the front and everyone else sits wherever. I loved this because when he would speak to the bus as a whole, he would speak through the mic and then later would translate everything he said in Spanish off the mic so everyone was able to really enjoy and understand the tour.
Leeds Castle is absolutely beautiful and was my favourite part of the tour. When going to Dover, it's also quite beautiful but if you want to see the actual white cliffs, you won't be able to on this tour because there isn't enough time. I loved Canterbury, it was quite lovely and the cathedral on the outside is beautiful. The boat ride back to the pick up stop was a really nice way to end the tour.

- Martin D1 contributionI went alone on this coach trip to see Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and cliffs of Dover. The coach was new but at 6foot 3 I couldn’t fit my legs into the coach seat. Lucky I had two seats to myself so sat sideways.
Our guides knowledge and humor was excellent and she stayed with us, except when we toured the castle, but you got given a free guide book to read as you move throughout it. You get 1.5 hrs to tour the castle and grounds so the guide book was enough. I would have liked another hour but you can’t fit it into the day. We moved on to the Canterbury Cathedral and got a top notch guided history tour in an impressive cathedral. We then had 45 mins for a lunch in the town at your leisure. We moved on to the Cliffs of Dover. The poor view of the cliffs are not the guides fault but they shouldn’t bother to go there. They probably want to make the tour look bulkier but it’s a waste of 45 mins. We were then driven the 2 hrs back to London.
Overall it was a relaxing, interesting and professionally conducted day. Kevin our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable and kept as entertained throughout the tour with his humour and knowledge. - Beverly BLa Mesa, CA5 contributionsWe were in town on a cruise and had no clue what we were going to do when we got to town. We stumbled upon Sam holding the sign and asked about the tour. It ended up being one of our favorite days in our 16 day trip. Sam knows his stuff!!! He is funny, smart and told some great stories of the town. - Tracy CJacksonville, FL8 contributionsWe had an absolutely wonderful day with John! He picked us up in his comfortable car and drove us to Leeds Castle. This was interesting and had beautiful grounds, which we toured. We then moved on to Canterbury. John gave us a great tour of the city and took us to the Cathedral, which was fantastic. We enjoyed touring the castle and recommend touring the castle with the volunteer guides. The stories were so interesting. We felt like we learned so much history! Traveling with John was a pleasure and made the day effortless on our parts--much better than a bus tour. - skippyyu11 contributionsDavid is a very knowledgeable and very flexible tour guide. He inserted little stops here and there, which we wouldn't have been able to visit or see, if we had booked a regular bus company tour. He called our attention to specific activities within the places we visited so we wouldn't miss out on these. He even arranged for us to have Sunday Roast at a quaint little pub in Canterbury. It was a great experience and a fantastic tour. We were really very happy and very pleased to have booked this tour with David.
In the process of booking this tour with David, I noticed that he would have a reply for me in less than 24 hours - to me that was important too.
You will not be disappointed.

Both Mr John and Mr James were receptive and gave a good insight into the background of the Leeds castle and the history behind the Canterbury cathedral and insight into the Greenwich Village!

- Mandy5 contributionsMy daughter in law and I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. Annie gave us great guidance and allowed us to create the rings we had in mind. It was good to use the tools and carry out the entire process. We were delighted with our finished rings.
