I visited as part of a pilgrimage to Canterbury Cathedral and the RC church. The building and atmosphere are amazing. There is a lot to see. We were met and talked to by a priest. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, I will try and visit again.

We loved the gardens, some beautiful trees, lovely planting, and the river with the punt trips was beautiful. Completely marred by a couple who were constantly smoking weed, which smelt pretty awful, impossible to get away from it.

Had a lovely few hours visiting Howletts. Lots of animals to see and we were fortunate to see both the Pallas and Fishing Cats. We did the Painted Dogs feeding, which was really enjoyable. The zookeeper was really knowledgeable and to provide a lot of information about the Dogs. It's best to do the zoo on a nice day to fully appreciate seeing the animals.

An amazing and sobering morning out. We had a most excellent commentary from Stephen, one of the volunteers. He was friendly, engaging and his knowledge of the period was faultless

This is an amazing thearte, a great find on Google. We watched the school edition of les miserables, the performances were terrific, this really exceeded our expectations. We were 5 rows from the front and the tickets were only £19:00 each, I would have paid 3 times this amount to watch this performance. So great to enjoy the thearte without paying westend prices. We have since booked to watch the Phantom of the opera.

The modern bronze statue of Christ was erected in 1990 to (at last) replace a medieval one torn down by Puritans in the 17th century. Now that it's been returned to its niche, you the full effect of the gate's splendour!

Great little park, obviously popular as it was very busy. The equipment was of good standard with a little grafitti of which was not suitable for little eyes
    Toilets below standard, unfortunately.

Played 4 games here a week ago and had the a super fun day! Dan was a great host and explained the rules very clearly, as well as giving us a great debrief about each of the games we played. Games were great fun, sets were very cool and made for an entertaining day! Definitely recommend to anyone from first time escapers to seasoned enthusiasts!

Amazing roast dinner! Vegan option not great, a pie would be better but the vegetables are amazing. One of the best in the area.

Very happy we booked this lovely punt down the Stour. The punter, Laine, was a great storyteller. Taking us through the history with humorous, interesting facts and tales about Canterbury & the river.

Catherine was our guide. Wonderful delivery with clarity, humour and knowledge. As expected , our eyes and attention drawn to such interesting detail that would be so easily be missed without guidance. Catherine made the city come alive and whetted our appetite to know more. A return visit is on the cards. Highly recommended.
