- Rowan J1 contributionFantastic night out at this hidden gem near King’s Cross. Incredible drag night with lovely, friendly staff. Amazing cocktails - we recommend the Baby Jane, the Bramble and the lemon sherbet one (though we struggled to remember the name of it by that point!). Love the cave.Written 14 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 10V3W1N5London, UK41 contributionsNothing saddens me like regression. Here is Theo happy as can be with me enjoying cabaret at Halfway To Heaven
Fast forward a few months and suddenly he is not welcome.
He is 💯 happier with me than he would be at home alone.
Very frustrating when venues project reason like “it’s too loud for dogs” - this is subjective and down to the owner to decide.
I love Halfway, always have - it’s a fantastic cabaret venue - but ludicrous policy changes like this aren’t the way forward.Written 1 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - daveyh87Horwich, UK692 contributionsWe came here for an after work drink for a leaving do, we had a great evening and mainly down to the staff. The owner introduced himself and was very welcoming and had a great deal on drinks. The music was good, drinks good, great space and a brilliant dance floor. Highly recommend it if you work in the Holborn area.Written 26 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

That’s why decided that we will become regulars when we like to have Latino dance. We really recommend. Even if is a LGBT 🏳️🌈 club everyone is welcome here who like to dance 💃 and have fun. Really good atmosphere.Written 11 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TheFussyTeenagerManchester, UK455 contributionsA beguiling, alternative London gay bar. We didn’t feel cool enough but had a good time watching Drag-A-Long’s Wicked. The cocktail I ordered was mind-blowingly strong, haha.Written 16 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RafaelLondon, UK14 contributionsIt’s not a fancy place so I don’t understand why the drinks are rather expensive.
The staff are friendly.
Not worth the price I’m afraid.Written 16 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - LauraCork-2006London, UK17 contributionsSound is right in the heart of Leicester Square. Queues are always inevitable but there are ways of skipping, hehe. Staff are friendly, maybe a little too friendly!! There are 3 floors for us commoners. First floor which is located on floor 3 is mostly a mix of dance, chart, pop, hip-hop and cheese. Second floor which is on the 4th floor is a balcony floor overlooking the first floor. Finally on the 5th floor is an RnB, hip hop room overlooking the london eye. To use the bathroom you have to walk to the fifth floor (ridiculous). Drinks are pricey 2 vodka + 1 red bull £12.10, bottles are less than £4. Sound opens early and is usually open till 3-ish. If you're looking to go clubbing on a Sunday night try Sound as a lot of places aren't even open on a Sunday night. Mixed crowd in here, black, white, asian, mostly early 20's. We fly to London once a month and always go to Sound, its our "local". Trying to get out is a bit of a nightmare as everyone has to exit via the same stairs. Its quite dangerous as the queue barely moves because the cloakroom is at the end of this stairs. Usually there is a cloakroom on the third floor so its better to go there and skip the queue at the end of the nightWritten 3 January 2007This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RicLondon89London, UK23 contributionsThis bar/club was one of the sleaziest and fun places to go in central London when trading under the name of 79CXR. It closed down for a few years and then re-opened under the name of ManBar. In my opinion, ManBar ceased to trade after a dispute with a stupid neighbour and Westmister's plans to "sanitise" the west end and get rid of gay bars. So sad!Written 13 September 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
