- Sharon W10 contributionsGreat place for a bargain... visited several times over the years and bought myself a Raincoat which I am proud to own and bought at a great price....Written 26 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- George A1 contributionA great little shop, almost like travelling back in time. A real pleasure to do business with. You will discover boots in colours and styles that you will not find anywhere else. Some of the Grinders range are bespoke and manufactured solely for the British Boot Company. Once they're gone, they're gone.
I have bought 'The Queen', cherry red 30 eyelet boots, 'The Superking' cherry red, with 26 eyelets, and The Bulldog 10 eyelets in burgundy. These were made by Grinders (NPS Northhampton) exclusively for the British Boot Company.
I have also bought a pair of vintage black Solovair 30-eylets with yellow stitching (identical to vintage DM's and again made by NPS in Northhampton).
NPS in Northampton is where Solovair and Grinders are made and where the original DM's were manufactured. Solovair boots are manufactured using the original DM lasts.Written 29 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - futtock21London, UK11,255 contributionsFirst time I’ve tried to visit since last summer when, despite signs to the contrary, I was told it was closed. Post-Covid lockdown, however, it was open to all-comers, its windows displaying white T-shirts, white shoes and a white notice announcing closure for lunch between 1 and 2pm. An impressive range of posters in a display beside the entrance door.Written 8 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Avik CCupertino, CA1,587 contributionsQuite a happening place if u are in a mood to shop. Located in central London with fairly decent prices for UK standards. Good selectionWritten 17 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PrestonGuildUnited Kingdom54,441 contributionsThe O2 has been rejigged to have a shopping outlet.
As others have mentioned I found it to be nothing special. There are a few places to have photos and selfies taken. There are hearst littered about.
The shops were nothing special, we spent most of our time at the Next.
The malise on the retail high street has affected places like these.
You could buy cheaper shopping online.Written 20 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
