Fantastic excursion! Beautiful scenic tour! Amazing value! We loved our tour guide and all the inside information we received during our experience. We saw off-the-beaten spots that other tourists miss. My wife has previously taken an excursion to the White Cliffs of Dover and she said these cliffs are much more scenic and impressive. We made a great choice in picking this tour and are thrilled that we got to do it. One of our favorite bonus stops along the way was a farm and cafe where we had a very tasty lunch.

We booked for the Magical Mystery Tour on the 19th July as part of my husband's birthday celebrations. The Beatles and their music has been a significant part of our lives. For me, The Beatles were my childhood and as a musician my husband has played in Beatle tribute bands. This tour is a must for all Beatles fans! For two hours you will experience an emotional, nostalgic, journey down memory lane. Driving to John's Aunt Mimi's house listening to Imagine after learning more about John's early life moved me to tears. This tour allows you to walk in their footsteps and to celebrate everything they achieved not just for themselves, but also for Liverpool, The UK and the international music scene. From their humble beginnings to international fame and their legacy, which is still bringing millions of visitors to Liverpool every year! Ending the tour with free entry to the Cavern Club is priceless. Just experiencing being part of this great club's history, listening to today's musicians' playing music from the Mersey Beat era and telling their stories bought more happy tears! Thanks to Dale, our Tour Guide and Dave, our Driver. You guys are awesome and certainly know your stuff. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and stories with us and for a fab day.

It was cheaper for me to buy the day trip package than to purchase the train tickets through Eurostar. Originally, I was only going to Paris to take a Macaron making class that I signed up for (highly recommend this as well). The tour comes with the hop on/off bus pass as well.
Meeting with the representative was easy. She was exactly where she said she would be at the time that was predetermined.
The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I would have liked the flexibility to change the return time at the end of the day.

What a night! David was an excellent guide to improving my photography as well as showing me some iconic sights and how to view them from different angles. He taught me about settings I didn’t know existed helping me to feel more confident to capture unique images. Thank you David.

We took the overnight tour - used first class rail from London to Oxenholme which is worth the extra dollars. Our tour included Beatrix Potter's home - Hill Top as well as a short boat cruise across Lake Windermere, and a couple of short stops for breathtaking photo ops. The last stop was Lindeth Howe for cream tea (tea and a delicious scone), and this happened to be our hotel for the night as well. Delightful staff, very nice dinner, and good English breakfast. Day 2 was free for us to visit other towns in the area, and we highly recommend taking a bus to visit Keswick (about an hour ride from Windermere). Worth the time and the money!!!

I am very satisfied with two tour guides from London and Paris. They both made an effort to make sure everyone feels comfortable. The Eurostar train to Paris was an awesome one for me. Paris is beautiful!

After booking other private tours in Paris, Rome and Barcelona, our experience with Gio at London Private Tours was the best by far! Gio guided us through a private tour of all of the quintessential London sites in 4 hours, even managing to fit in a lovely lunch in Borough Market. His knowledge of local history, the best spots for the perfect photo, and the great care he took to make sure we enjoyed our time in the amazing city of London exceeded all expectations! I can’t recommend London Private Tours enough and we will definitely use them again when friends visit in the Spring! Thank you Gio and London Private Tours!

Gerard is outstanding, he was incredibly nice, incredibly knowledgeable, the entire time he was very entertaining, funny, informative, and polite. He was also extremely flexible to adjust to our walking challenges. I am not sure this can be any better. Thank you for such an outstanding wonderful experience!!! I will always remember the Jubilee weekend for this outstanding tour!

Highly recommend if you want a private tour with a fun guide that becomes your friend. Ollie will cater the tour to your needs, including providing a car for additional cost. As an architect I had some specific requests that are out of ordinary, plus the standards “see London in a day”. Ollie crammed as much in as she could in 6 hours. Try it!

I booked a day trip before with Rabbie's and had a great experience. Again I wasn't disappointed. Rabbie's booked the train ticket with reserved seat from London. Our driver Dom picked us up in Penrith in a small comfortable bus. He was very organised and knowledgeable. He didn't hesitate to add some stops for great views when we had the time and shift things around to dodge the rain for the photo ops. That is one thing to note. It can sometimes rain a lot there. So bring waterproof gear. That being said, this is still one of, if not the most beautiful region in England. Well worth dealing with the less than ideal weather.

As far as accommodations, we stayed in fantastic B&Bs in Keswick. While the tour also tends to stay in Windermere, it was peak tourist season so it would have been crowded. I was thankful that Keswick was cute and small with a decent amount of options for dinner (reservations are recommended though for many places).

Overall, we hit all the most important places to see and there was enough diversity of things to see (not just water). The optional activities are not too expensive and I think worth it, especially the steamboat cruise and the visit of Beatrix Potter's house.

I think this tour is great if you are visiting the UK and want to see something other than big cities. It's also great if you live in the south of England but have never been to the Lake District, especially if you don't have a car and/or don't want to drive yourself in the mountains.
