What travellers are saying
- Paul W2 contributionsLords tour and dinning experience in the players dinning room, what a fantastic 3 hours for any cricket lover, and even those with little cricket interest. Very knowledgeable guide who took the tour around all parts of the ground, including The Long Room, players dressing rooms, media centre, scorers box and inside the Museum. The food served in the players dinning room was excellent, 3 courses plus wine, beer or soft drinks.
Couldn't recommend this day out enough.Written 12 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Alien W470 contributionsI went to Wimbledon this year. Although it was crowded, the atmosphere was great and most of places were clean and organized. Fantastic experience!Written 3 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Raphaël Le BougeantLondon, UK1 contributionFantastic club, beautiful atmosphere at craven cottage I recommend everyone to attend at least a game in their lifetime. Classic, culturally rich stadium.Written 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Martin BWakefield, UK76 contributionsLove the ground . Friendly atmosphere . Compact ground . Facilities were a little dated but it was like going back to the days of proper football grounds.Written 30 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SophtravelsLondon, UK66 contributionsThis climbing centre is great! There are plenty of good bouldering walls for all abilities and there are never ending rooms. You can also climb outside in a really pretty setting. Staff weren’t particularly friendly but other than that, a great experience!Written 15 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NidgehammerStevenage, UK4,772 contributionsFirst time back here for about 5 years but have been coming here to watch West Ham since the early 80’s, about 10 visits or so.
It’s an old school ground despite having at least two new stands since I first came and has a good atmosphere if not a bit “happy-clappy” home fans.
Slightly restricted view right in the corner about 20 rows back but I enjoyed being at a proper football ground rather than our 60,000 filled soul-less bowl. Not much room behind the away stand and facilities are pretty grim but I guess that’s part of the experience.
It’s a nightmare to get to if you’re from north of the river but I’ll keep coming back to remember what old grounds are like.Written 28 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Itaewon-dongLondon 109 contributionsLost property (my lovely swimming costume) is immediately binned . This is supposedly a measure to protect against covid but is an outdated response as we now know that the virus doesn’t spread via surfaces! On the other hand they’re prepared to open the poolside sauna where social distancing is impossible to maintain.
With all that said, the Oasis is undoubtedly a gem in central London and I’ve noticed efforts to hike up the ventilation in the changing rooms, via air conditioning.Written 29 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Figarogir1Shoeburyness, UK330 contributionsI’ve visited a couple of times as an away fan and the stadium is large with two food stands and plenty of toilets for away fans! Also, the stadium is sheltered from the wind and rain. Always a nice stadium to visit - especially as there is a great Thai restaurant (Cattleya) 5 minutes walk away for lunch before the match.Written 9 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Matt S1 contributionGreat location. I've been climbing here regularly for 18 months and is a great location particularly after work.
After a recent injury the Staff (Beccy) looked after us brilliantly. A very confident first aider, she was very much appreciated.Written 21 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - ToujoursLaRouteIasi, Romania911 contributionsPlayed tennis only once...but I will be glad to come back. Four indoor courts and some more outside, good surface (hard), quite fast. Impressive stadium for hockey, even if I was not interested on this sport. And the Olympic area is just fantastic place!Written 22 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JackieD1 contributionSwimming lessons at this leisure center are chaotic. Each lesson runs concurrent with no time to speak with the instructor, the next lesson has to wait until the parents collect their child and the register is taken as the kids start their lesson. This takes away 5 minutes of their half hour lesson as they are just left to wait in the water for the instructor to be free. During the lessons the instructors are often talking to each other leaving the kids waiting again which is not great given that they've already lost time at the start and it's valuable learning time.
Today's lesson was a shambles as there seemed to be lots of children and a distinct lack of instructors. One guy seemed to be called from every direction despite covering several classes and I did notice that there was no lifeguard available incase of an emergency.
The changing rooms despite notices always have clothes in them making it difficult to find an empty space to change and no one seems to address this issue. It's an ongoing saga each week that never seems to get better
I've stuck with it as the leisure centre is local and my child enjoys lessons with the allocated instructor but after today I have reached a point where lessons elsewhere are now tempting as I can't see this improving any time soonWritten 21 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Debi L1 contributionAlways fancied an ice-climb - don’t know why?!! I’m a more mature lady and attended on my own. Ronan was brilliant. He made me feel safe and encouraged me and took some fab photos on my phone for me just to prove I did it!! I made it to the top, twice! and halfway up with 1 pick climb. Very pleased with myself. Thank youWritten 8 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- roamerLondonlondon92 contributionsVery pleased that the training pool has reopened and swimming is again possible but frustrating that the big pool remains closed apparently not related to Covid.
The Covid precautions are all in place and the lifeguards very helpful, but why on earth did they not take the chance to refurbish the pool and the changing rooms during the lockdown- even a paint job would have helped. It leaves a lasting impression of a wonderful facility on its last legs-shame.Written 1 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Ollie CLondon, UK389 contributionsSuper crowded - roughly 200 people on there. When queuing to retrieve shoes, just two guys on the counter. We’d come off 15 minutes early but had to wait over 40 minutes! Very rowdy behaviour by some awful people too which should be stopped. Unclean but a good day out - with friendly enough staff and fun on the ice.Written 25 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- GAcikgozLondon, UK5 contributionsNo customer Service. I have email, left messages to change my son swim level but no one returned my calls. I have specifically asked for the swim manager, no luck Poor Management driving customer elsewhere.Written 14 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
