- Reem M1 contributionHad such a great time, really cool place to visit. Went with some friends on Saturday for a birthday, great way to start the night. The golf was fun and the drinks were good. Shout out to AP for recommending cocktails that would match my picky palate.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travelling Hendo16 contributions£29 for 2 to do 9 holes is a bit steep but guess it’s London. Nice choice of courses and great cocktails. Drink selection on the beers was also great. - Nadim M1 contributionService was great from a young man. The 18 games were really fun for my family and could see others on the day enjoyed it too.
However, it was very busy today, possibly Jurassic Falls could make better use of time slots as it is only 5min intervals which isn't enough for big families. Also the 1 toilet that I could find near Hole 18 was in such a state, my child didn't bother going in. There should some cleaning areas as the clubs are used multiple times during the day and I didn't see them being cleaned nor was there any antibacterial hand gel to use after playing 18 holes.Written 28 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zoe WKent, UK208 contributionsReally enjoyed the darts and the lady who checked us in was friendly. The drinks were a little confusing as it’s ‘selected’ drinks you can have, so don’t be confused as we were when the lady said to the value of £7. The darts was slightly more chaotic as other people playing and a family hogged hole 2 so we had to bypass that and come back. The golf is quite tricky, but not interactive ness. Old fashioned in that you score etc, not like Swingers, or Puttshack. That aside the vibe is fun and we had a good time.Written 1 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard MBedford, UK902 contributionsWe had booked and were running a few minutes late but were told there was no issue and our darts lane would start when we were ready. I guess it was lunchtime and not as busy. Very friendly staff. Darts all very self explanatory. Big tv screens with sports on at the same time. You can get drinks from the bar and food whilst playing. Had an hour on darts then golf. No rush for the golf again. Walked past the ace throwing to find an axe ricochet and fly out of the section. Bit dangerous. The golf was ok but I wouldn’t book again. All in all a great vibe and would be a great place to go for a stag/ hen party. We were just two but still a good time. - Ian CLondon, UK23,970 contributionsDespite living only a few miles away, I had never visited the Park before, but I have been exploring new and different places as I maintain a walking exercise regime.
The park is almost 100 years old, having been created in 2003. It has a magnificent avenue of trees along the river walkway and trees all around its edges - apparently some 350 different species.
It was one of those typical London summer days, with dark clouds overhead and the threat of rain, which finally did come down as I reached Wandsworth itself. Despite the threatening weather, the park was well used by people jogging on the and walking on the paths and the riverside walkway, as obviously other facilities were closed due to the current health situation.
The Thames is a tidal river and, as you can see from the photograph, the tide was out on the day of my visit which gives it a very different and almost surreal dynamic compared to when it is at full tide - indeed in February it floods along in Putney!
My reason for visiting was the Putney Sculpture Trail, which runs along the river (mostly) in different locations and is a trail of 9 sculptures by the artist Alan Turnbull who had his studio in Putney since 1959. Sadly, he died in March this year, but his legacy lives on and the Park is fortunate to have two of his sculptures, entitled Nexus and Pygmalion.Written 15 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. She booked the Sip & Swing which was obviously a game of golf and a cocktail. Now having been around many places, pubs and bars cocktails normally have alcohol in them and mocktails don’t. We were given an apple and ginger drink, that’s a mocktail not cocktail. I also had the birthday cocktail, never have I seen or had a cocktail which has squirty cream on it, again it seemed to be missing the alcohol element. We ordered a burger and chips I must say this was very tasty, not very big but enjoyable. The golf was unusual and some of the holes seemed a little extreme, a friend had asked us to let them know what it was like. Sadly we had to say it was a little bit disappointing been to others in London and felt they were much better.Written 19 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
