I was a little sceptical of going after reading some of the reviews, but we had a brilliant night. The food and entertainment were both great, the staff were lovely and the place has a really nice atmosphere.

It was the perfect place for a birthday night out. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for a memorable night.

A really great theatre show. I go to lots of shows and this is in my top 3. Very funny and the cast were amazing. Just wish they would have had an Uncle Albert in there. 'during the war'

Very impressed overall with the experience.
The food was very very good and full of flavours. I was worried there would not been enough… but it was the correct amount and was not rushed to eat it.
Service was very good and attentive- nothing to much trouble- however the price of additional drinks is extremely expensive… I would have drank more and stayed after for another few but £8.50 for a very small poor red wine was not a winner.
A small tweak in regards to drinks prices and this would have been spot on!
Thank you for a lovely evening.

We had a decent table for our visit & our waiter (skinny guy, northern accent) was great. However, one of the waitresses brought out our mains while I was still finishing my starter. She just stood there looking at me, so I felt that I had to cram in the remainder of my starter in order for her to squeeze the plates onto our table. As people are there all evening to see a band, they really need to leave a decent gap inbetween courses.
The band were good, as was our waiter.

I saw the fabulous Natalie Douglas perform her tribute to Sammy Davis, Jr. This is an intimate performance space so everyone has a good view of the performer. You order food from the Pizza Express menu.

We took part in the Great Christmas Feast last weekend with some friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it. What a fantastic experience. We shared a table with 2 other couples which we really enjoyed. We had balcony seats, which worried us initially as the tables were not decorated like the more expensive ones downstairs. However, our fears were totally unfounded as the food was amazing and the waiting staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. As for the show...well, I've never seen anything quite like it. The actor, who single handedly played every character, was so engaging and talented. Whilst, the violinist and cellist accompanying him were equally amazing and embibed the whole experience with a great atmosphere. Very creepy and sombre in places. Merry and cheerful in others. An extremely well thought out piece of musical theatre. A completely emersive experience. Cant wait to come to another one soon.

We went on the children's goosebumps live it was a fun experience and my 8 yr had great fun. Would have been better if a bit longer. The actors were great, though they would have been a bigger shop at end, but you can buy 3 books for ten pounds.

My wife and I frequently visit this theatre.
If you live in London or are a visitor it is well worth a visit.
    It is a pub theatre.
There is a busy atmospheric bar below theatre, where you can get a 3 course pre theatre meal for £18.
The program at the theatre is varied and topical , often social or political topics are covered.
The acting is of a high standard.
The theatre is small there are about 10 rows of seats with about 8 people in a row.
    It is free seating.
The audience is mixed , all ages , different races, people come on their own or with company.
Ticket prices are cheap usually in range £10-£15.
If you come by car you can park in nearby streets at weekend and after 7.00 pm in week for free.
If you are interested in modern theatre I would encourage you to give this venue a go.

Went to Sandown drive in. At £30 including booking fee it is too expensive but for a folly during lockdown it was great. The staff were all exceptionally nice, the sound system was really, really good and the screen big enough. Toilets were just about acceptable and there were lots of them.

The biggest issue was the only cooked food was vegan. Vegan hot dogs, vegan cheesy chips, etc. Really didn’t appreciate the forced agenda there. Luckily we spotted this ahead of going and took a take away in with us.

A fun night and if they reduced the price I would gladly go weekly.
