Fantastic service and experience for my elderly parents of 91 and 87. I was worried about them having to stand in the queue for a long time then get onto a moving cable car. No need to worry: we were treated like VIPs, ushered forwards and with the car paused to let us on. The views were fantastic and we all loved it. Huge praise to the team today.

Underground tube system is something you cannot avoid if you are visiting London from outside. Most likely, you will land at Heathrow and go to a Central London hotel with all your luggage using underground. And like me you would use google. What I realized was that google gives you workable information, but not necessarily optimized one.

For example, google told me to take the Piccadilly line to South Kensington and then change to district line to St James Court (I was going to St James Court - Taj). What I did not realize was that I had to haul my luggage up & down the stairs to do the transfer - which was not very convenient.

While returning, google gave me the exact opposite route with transfer at S Kensington. But when I did some additional research (where I did not find adequate conclusive data/recommendations), and took some risks, I found better alternatives. What I am describing is my journey back from Central London to Heathrow - but I believe it works in the other direction too.

First, there are really three options - go to a "junction" like Paddington to take Heathrow Express (most expensive) or Victoria Line train (somewhat expensive) to simply use the regular commuter line to reach to/from Heathrow to Central London. The time difference being insignificant in grand scheme of things, I decided to take commuter train - and my entire experience is based on that.

If you are new to London tube, you need to know couple of things. Sometimes there are multiple stations with very similar names (eg there are four different stations with Kensington - but it is not easy to transfer from one station to the other).

Second, even if you have connecting trains from the exact same station, you may have to change platforms and there is no guarantee that the station has elevators to help you haul your luggage. In fact, south Kensington is one such station that is used to transfer back & forth from Piccadilly to District line - which involves change of platform with no elevators. However if you do that same transfer in Baron's Court (2 stations apart) - you literally get down on one side of the platform and walk to the other side without needing to climb stairs. Eg - you get down at platform 1 and board from platform 2 (just the other edge of the platform). Hammersmith and (possibly) Turnham Green stations are like that too - if you are changing between Piccadilly and district.

The physical structure that is St Pancras station is quite stunning. That arched roof is a thing of architectural & engineering beauty.

Lots of food & beverage choices and, for its size & the sheer number of people moving through it, relatively easy to navigate.

Interesting place. Many people, most of then not British though.
The Harry Potter shop was closed , but there are a lot of shops, cafeterias, places where you can grab a bite.

Booking process was easy.. on the day I had a text with a link to my e ticket.

When we got to Spain the driver was waiting at arrivals with a sign with our name on it. Pleasant guy, lifted our cases in the boot for us.

On the way back, another nice chap. Very polite and punctual!

We’ve already booked this company again for our holiday in Turkey.

Definitely beats a coach transfer with lots of stops!

    Would 100% recommend !

This is an easy station to navigate, arriving from the underground, platforms are straight in front of you. Most staff are helpful.

Patrick picked us up from Heathrow and drove us safely to Bradford on Avon. He is a wealth of information and a great conversationalist. Clean vehicle that accommodated our group and luggage. Highly recommend.

I had used this firm many times during the past month. The cars were always on time and the drivers were courteous. The booking was easy via phone. I would use this firm again.

We took the DLR from Bank to Cutty Sark and back. A good service overall with nice little driverless trains and good views. We could use our one day travel card.

The journey was exactly as it said, quick on time. Down side is there is a long walk from terminal 2 to the station although terminal 5 was closer. I got a family ticket but you scan that and the gate only allows for 1 person to pass through not the whole group

Impossible to fault the service provided by Mason & Green and our driver, Dev. Friendly and professional, they eliminated stress at the start and end of our trip.

It was our first time, but won't be our last!
