Pictures do not do the Crown Jewels justice. Just have to see these Royal Treasures in person.
Best to get online at their website to get your tickets.

I had the chance to enter in this amazing building, but, unless you are over 60's or other lift requirements, you need to do the stairs not many, just bring some cold water with you and remove your jacket it will get hot.
By the way you can take a picture if you a brave enough on the glass who facing the road underneath, about 53 meters height .. Scary Not easy to believe there is glass there.
Don't try to get there where the weather is rainy, it's useless for pictures, unless you like it.
    Enjoy

What an outstanding experience, there is just so much to see. I didn't notice that i got stuck in churchill museum for too long (there is just so much history there to explore) and staff reminded me that they closing soon and i still have 17 more rooms too go. so i ran out of time. i would really need 3 hours for this place to see it all. so make sure you have enough time and buy your tickets on line, as the line was pretty long

The British Museum remains as good as ever but is SO busy it becomes a bit of a mission to visit.

I cannot understand why there should be three separate shops. It took me ages to track down some Egyptian tut for a grandchild.

The cafe is too busy and chaotic to be comfortable except for a much needed pitstop.

Visited for the Beatrix Potter exhibition. What a wonderful collection of items on display. Very well presented and lots of information attached with each piece. Seeing Peter rabbit brings out the inner child in all of us.

Lots of stairs so not that great for wheelchair or pram access if you want to visit the top. Even if you are scared of heights, you just have to climb to the top and see the amazing view!

Great exhibits great day out but a few strange things.

I pre-booked our tickets online and picked a time slot to guarantee entry, on the way in someone directs you to a queue either booked tickets or non pre-booked.
All ticket holders proceed straight in and others in a queue who do not even though it's free entry.

Once in NO ONE scans the tickets anyway so the people in the queue without pre-booking are standing there for no reason!. Then they employ someone just to ask to tap to donate on the way in, which we did but is just strange.

It's such a great family day out, why don't they just charge admission!? Under 16 free maybe and adults paying. It's worth it.

Then strangely they have dippy the diplodocus in a separate section also free to go in but you have to queue again and yet again a tickets and non tickets queue!??
2 staff members scanning pre-booked tickets and a queue to a till with another person for the free tickets ???? All they did was try to sell you a dippy book and a museum guide book. Seems so weird standing on line for a free entry..and you pre-book for what? You pick a time slot for what I thought was to control the amount of people to stop overcrowding, but it was packed.

There are so many attractions in the UK that are nowhere near as good, yet charge a fortune for entry.
They should just charge entry, the museum is important and alot did look run down, the dinosaur exhibit gantry was closed, some exhibits empty, the escalator through the globe was out of order.

Recently enjoyed a Rolling Stones' concert at Hyde Park. This is a large park with general admission seating/standing on the grass. Plenty of concessions on both sides as well as bathroom facilities. Contrary to Hyde Park's list of prohibited items, many people had backpacks, blankets, and some also had chair backs to lean on when sitting. Large screens and excellent acoustics allowed for an excellent view of the stage from any location in the park. A great fun place to see an outdoor show.

Nice place to visit in London, around the market you can see street artists, and there is a variety of restaurants candy stores, antiques and other shops in the market. There is a courtyard downstairs with some French food restaurants where you can get cheese and charcuterie boards with wine and there are always performers playing or singing good mimuaice. Nice area to amealhar around, just watch for pick pockets as this area has quite a bit of incidents due to the high tourist traffic. No other crimes or violence other than that, the area is safe.

Leave lots of time so you can experience everything. It's great to be able to see inside and learn about history.
