- MikePShropshireBridgnorth, UK325 contributionsBridgnoth Probus Club had an Outing/Adventure to Tanners in Shrewsbury for a wine tasting. The adventure bit was going on the bus, so we could all enjoy the wine tasting.
For any group that is looking for an outing, then I can recommend Tanners Wine Tasting, as it starts with a welcome drink of Fizz and canapes, then you get a conducted tour around the 14th Century property, with lots of history and maybe a ghost tale or two, then the wine tasting and buffet, in the company of Tanner's Alix Chidley-Uttley, who is most entertaining.
You may contact Tanner's Alix Chidley-Uttley on 01743 234500 or email - AlexChidley-Uttley@tanners-wines.co.uk

The exhibition is very well presented with good displays and detailed descriptions of the events leading to the battle and combatants involved. There is a pleasant walk to the nearby memorial church and large graveyard which is worth visiting.
There is a top-quality farm shop on site with excellent farm and butchery products. Also a café / restaurant with good menu and indoor and outdoor seating.Written 5 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I got birthday and Christmas presents for my daughter and grandson who are massive Harry Potter fans! Some items are a bit pricey but they have a vast selection of choice . The staff are very friendly and helpful and helped me look for the right size T shirt . Will definitely be going back .Written 30 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Janet KLondon UK202 contributionsI spotted the Blue Lemon during a visit to Shrewsbury and just had to go in. The shop is beautiful with all the products arranged nicely and helpful knowledgeable staff. I bought soap bars, foaming soap , body scrub, body butter together with foot balm and hand creams. I knew immediately the high quality of the products the moment I used them. Wonderful scents that are not overpowering and last. The rich creams mean you can use them sparingly and get great results. I have dry legs and feet. I have also ordered on line - the products are beautifully packaged and arrive very fast. Highly recommended.Written 12 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- BethRoweShrewsbury, UK26 contributionsButton & Bear is - without doubt - the best bookshop I have visited. It is particularly great for children but please don't imagine it is just for young people. There are books here to entertain humans from aged 0 - 99! My three boys (aged between 10 and 15) always find something they 'need' and I rarely leave without a purchase. There is a tremendous range of books (non-fiction, graphic novels, journals, board books, picture books, novels, books for teachers and books for young adults). Better than all of this, is the expertise and warmth of all the staff. Make a pilgrimage here if you are in the West Midlands - you won't be disappointed.Written 16 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PFllondon5 contributionsVery friendly and helpful staff, visited on the 31/12/19. I went to the next door café, and following my meal my card payment apparently didn't go through twice, so paid for with cash. Found out the payment was taken twice on my card, and living over 4 hours away was unable to visit the café to sort this out. Called the café but the number online does not work. Called the art gallery next door and spoke to Mrs Cameron who was so very gracious to help me by speaking to the café. This place is well worth a visit!!Written 14 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Some flavours are classic, but you can get seasonal specials. This is the best fudge in the area, but don’t leave it till the end of the day, you might miss out on your favourite.Written 29 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It had scuff and chips on it making be doubt the ring was new and was really 2nd hand
They will only return 50% of the cost which leaves us hundreds of pounds out of pocket!!

We plan to take them to small court just to get a refund. DO NOT USE THIS SHOPWritten 23 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
