What travellers are saying
- SarahOSouthSouthampton, UK343 contributionsLots to do and always adding bits. Lots of stairs and not able to go in dungeon - I think we ticked all of the cautions apart from pregnancy. Staff friendly and some in costume. Not sure how much free from is available in the cafe, not much for breakfast. We parked in stables car park (£10) right next to entrance so save energy for walking round.Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - yvetteBeeston, UK19 contributionsVery interesting visit, the guides in each room were the most enthusiastic I've come across and really wanted to share with you what they knew which really made the experience.Written 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravellingBrummie26 contributionsAmazing performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream! My two children ages 11 and 12 loved it. Really clear, easy to understand, totally engaging and hilarious. It will be a hard act to follow!Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jackie S1 contributionWent to Hatton yesterday with the family and it a was lovely. It was a lovely day out seeing all the animals. I enjoyed seeing all the baby animals that have arrived recently. My oldest kids loved the soft play, which I found very clean and inviting. My younger children loved the handling sessions, we went to the 10:30am reptile handling and the 12:30pm Guinea Pig handling which were both incredible.
The best part of the day had to have been the reptile handling. We got to handle 3 different reptiles, we had lots of questions which a lovely young student working there helped answer, I believe her name was Mave.
I highly recommend visiting Hatton County World for a wonderful, animal filled experience. It’s great for people of all ages. We will have to go again soon.Written 24 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We took our dog and she loved walking round the sculpture park and gardens, and me and the husband took turns viewing the house. Staff were all so nice and made the effort to chat and tell us interesting things about the place. We had tea and biscuits at the shed and was very good and decent price. Please note there is a charge on the car parkWritten 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Leah PSwadlincote, UK10 contributionsReally lovely way to spend an hour with the family.
We went in half term so it was busy and quite slow walking through the butterfly house. Difficult trying to avoid the buggies everywhere however it didn’t ruin our visit. The butterflies are everywhere and there are benches to sit and hope for a butterfly to visit you!
My children (4&7) loves the mini beast area and watching the leaf cutter ants working hard above your head!
We used our Tesco vouchers which made the visit good value.
Car parking is a pay and display just outside the entrance.Written 17 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great concept and super for kids. Prices and opening hours in the attached photos.Written 18 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jynni W3 contributionsIf you go to Stratford upon Avon and something is on at the Attic Theatre. Please go. The company Tread the Boards has always delivered brilliant shows whether serious Dracula or hysterically funny The Three Musketeers. Even their Panto was stupidly funnily traditionally done!Written 8 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Winch50Winchester, England113 contributionsReally interesting museum, covering the history of British motor manufacturing. A great range of vehicles. Lovely to see old cars like the ones that had belonged to parents and relatives- a real trip dpwn memory lane. I particularly liked the sign on a car that had belonged to the Queen Mother, 'One careful lady owner.'Written 1 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SarahOSouthSouthampton, UK343 contributionsLovely property to visit. All the staff and volunteers were friendly and obviously love the place. Room guides were very informative. Big second hand bookshop is worth a visit on its own. Good paths around gardens.Written 15 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PJtravelsBirmingham, UK79 contributionsHaving visited Leamington many times before , today was the first time I have walked round the gardens .
The circular route round the lake , a cafe and other features I was surprised at what it offered .
Try it and see .Written 17 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Booking in advance online was easy but we felt it was a bit much to then have to pay another £4 to park! Friendly staff and nice little shop.Written 12 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
