Nichola led a great tour. Very informative and amusing. It was lovely to see parts of Edinburgh that we might otherwise not have seen. Great group of very interesting people. Would really recommend it.
The leader Tilly was phenomenal. We went to many place. All great generous and tasty portions. Been on many food tours this was in the top 3. Whiskey tasting at the end was a great top off. Other 8 participants were a delight. Would recommend to anyone! We also learned much about Edinburgh town from Tilly
Absolutely amazing. Raffy ,our guide gave us lots of interesting information....and lots of chocolate. It was great fun making the chocolate, I even managed to take some home! Definitely recommend it
Truly worthwhile experience where the quality of the food and drinks were only surpassed by the knowledge and humour of our guide. Will be booking another one when I can.
If you happen to be in Edinburgh, try not to miss the red bus tour with afternoon tea & fizz. You get to see the best of the town while enjoying a traditional copious tea complemented by a bubbly drink that makes the 90min tour different and enjoyable.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Chubby Fellow in Edinburgh! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!! John was a fantastic host, he gave us great information both on the food we were eating and the city itself. Would highly recommend to any foodies coming to Edinburgh!!
A must do tour. Joanne was so knowledgeable and kind, and you get so much amazing food and drink- much more than you would have expected. We had the best time!! All the stops were gorgeous, and the tour is so intimate and you get to meet and get to know fellow travelers. It was so much fun and joanne really made the tour so special. Food, wine, whiskey lovers- you have to go!
We loved our beer and pub tour with Sara. She was very knowledgeable about beer in general and beer-related Edinburgh history. Word of caution - if you’re as impressed as us and really want to show your appreciation in the form of a tip, she might slip away and pull an ‘Irish goodbye’ at the last pub.
Fabulous afternoon learning all about cocktails from Robert at Eden Mill! Tasty gin, knowledgeable and friendly host and fantastic company - great value too! Really loved it, highly recommended!
First ever food tour and what a great experience! Willie was our guide for the afternoon in Edinburghs old town. He was lots of fun and had some brilliant stories as we walked around. All restaurants were super friendly. My personal favourite was Cannonball where we were served up a delicious two course meal, a few nice quality glasses of wine and also local oysters. The whiskey stop was also another highlight for us.
Excellent day out. Already planning our next visit with friends from overseas next spring.
Brilliant afternoon. Neil was really knowledgable and supportive in helping us find our own individual flavours. Great location surrounded by gin heritage. The bottle we came away with will help savour the experience for a little while yet. Would recommend to anyone, gin lover or not.
Alec was a great tour guide! It was the perfect balance of local food tastings mixed with history/information about the city. Would definitely recommend!
We had a great time at the cheese crawl! Jenny was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the cheese and the shops! She had great anecdotes throughout the tour and was very friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh!
We really enjoyed this experience. My wife and I were the only people signed up for this tasting, so it really turned into a private event. Sarah, our tasting director, was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. She is the main reason for the five star rating. That being said, the whiskies were outstanding and being able to taste and compare scotch whisky from every region was a real treat. I would strongly recommend this tasting to anyone who appreciates scotch whiskies!
