This is a wonderful place to visit, to understand and gain insight into authentic Scotch Whiskey, and in Scotland itself. It was a very worthwhile experience for all of us.

We did the Pea-cocktail experience and it was absolutely fantastic. Alyssia was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide taking us from the beginning gin to present day and Pickerings. Highly recommended.

We did a tour with Lara and she was WONDERFUL. So knowledgeable about everything Johnnie Walker and scotch whiskey in general. It was truly one of the best tours we’ve taken. The experience itself was incredibly built, immersive and beautiful. The drinks were delicious as well. Highly recommend!

We had a really great Gin Tour at Holyrood Distillery! First we got a cocktail and sat down listening to Bryce telling us all about the history of Gin which was interesting en greatly told. Then we went to the distillery, learned about the proces of making Gin and started the tasting, but also creating combinations and making a cocktail. Absolute recommendation!

My friend and I had a wonderful time distilling our own custom bottle of gin! Gary was an enthusiastic and wonderful teacher and very passionate about the subject! He taught us lots about the distilling process, different types of gin and we learned lots of history. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend to everyone! It was fantastic value as well! I already have plans to go back with a group of work friends!

Had a brilliant gin tasting session with Hamish. It was very informative and the selection of gins sampled were all fantastic. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

A group of us recently did a walking whisky tour with Justine, she was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and not phased by anything including the ‘colourful locals’. We all had a great time and found her tour really engaging, with the whisky at the end a real bonus and tailored to the tour.
I would certainly recommend this tour, even if you know about whisky you will learn something from Justine.

f you think Scotland is maybe just an extension of England, so did I...until I went there in December '22. The place has a genuine old world charm, both in the old buildings but especially in the friendly and helpfulness of the people. While many European towns have charm, many of them seem primarily sales driven. Whereas in Scotland, there seemed to be and underlying gratitude that we were there. I heartily recommend a taking a 4-hour train ride to Edinburgh and introducing yourself to the place next time you're in London! Ciao!
