    Our tour guide Eddie was very entertaining throughout the tour :) he was also very informative about the history of Scotland and all the sights around us. The highlands were a pretty sight, especially on a sunny day! Overall a great experience.

    Great tour! So much to see, not enough time.
    Our tour guide Maj was phenomenal! He knew plenty about everywhere we went and he kept us well-entertained for the whole trip. The trip itself was great, and covered a LOT of ground in the highlands. The way the itinerary is listed here was different than how we actually got to everything (the Jacobite cruise and Urquhart castle were on the third day of the trip, before Culloden, for example), but we did cover everything that is listed here as of June 2022. We also made several bonus stops that were not on the original itinerary because we had extra time! I just wish we had more time at some stops, but I understand that there is a schedule to keep and so many sites to see!

    Sterling Castle
    Sterling Castle was very nice our guid Stewart was very nice man great sense of humor and good story teller. It was lovely ride seeing the open pace and country side, the stops are very short.
    I would suggest bringing sandwiches with the stop before Sterling Castle is Long enough to eat lunch the problem is most of the restaurants provide super slow service and just the small little country town so you can’t get your food in time to eat do you have to get it to go or cancel your order, there’s no time to stroll in the stores are by souvenirs you’re spending most of your time waiting for your food in a restaurant. Our guide has recommended to the restaurant owner several times to speed up the service unfortunately that hasn’t changed.

    Royal Mile and Castle Tour—Edinburgh
    Our tour guide (I didn’t get her name) was excellent. She was very intelligent with a good sense of humor which made the tour fun. She also used the radios which was HUGELY HELPFUL since the tour was on a very crowded street. My wife and I very much enjoyed the tour. The only suggestion she might try would be wearing a super distinctive hat or carrying a highly visible pole with something distinctive on it so she can be easily seen from a ways behind so that group members don’t get lost.

    Humorous and information packed
    Great tour, and much nicer than doing the drive ourselves. Our tour guide seemed to favor topical dry British humor which was hilarious for us, but it definitely went over the head of a lot of other people on the bus. The included lunch consisted of a sandwich, pack of crisps, and a biscuit.

    I want to go back!
    It was amazing! All those nice places and wonderful views…loved it! Didn’t find Jamie Fraser but the beauty of the highlands made me forget about it or even better, it felt like going back in time. For the next trip I definitely choose again for The Hairy Coo! Thanks to our guide/driver Scott for making this trip unforgettable and driving us safely around, telling all those stories and learned us about the history. You are the best and made it unforgettable! Tapadh leibh!

    Wonderful experience - highly recommended
    The days were full and packed of great scenery & information. Our tour guide, Jamie, really made the tour with his sense of humor and thorough knowledge of Scottish history and lifestyle. His driving, music and guiding was impeccable. I was shocked with the small streets and terrain that we were able to see and enjoy. We would definitely recommend this tour. Our 63 year old mother was able to manage the hikes and sites.

    A good day out.
    The tour guide was excellent and the food venues superb. I am vegan and I was well catered for. Fortunately we had a dry sunny day. I am not so sure if I would have appreciated a wet day out as much.

    Keith was excellent. He was polite, knowledgeable, and full of history. He knows the area very well and gives the best commentary as we journey. Plenty of rest and bathroom stops.
