- Eric REdinburgh, United Kingdom20 contributionsMy son and I are regular visitors to world of bowling mainly to play snooker the tables are nicely laid out but you quite often have to hunt around to find the table accessories such as rests and triangles which appear to be in short supply . On one other negative note something needs to be done about the inadequate heating in the cold weather as it can be difficult having to play snooker in bulky clothing. Prices are reasonable but not consistent and staff friendly.Written 3 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ClaireeiLivingston, UK81 contributionsAmazing 80’s themed mini-golf!
We loved this place. I visited with my 14 year old son. Reasonable/competitive entry free. Easy to book online with good selection of dates and times available.
Very well thought-out course with 80’s music playing in the background. If you like “Stranger Things” then this will definitely appeal to you. Lots of reference to the Netflix series.
We had a great time and will definitely return with the rest of the family.Written 31 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can now order drinks at your lane which is excellent but does get really noisy if you're in a lane beside the basketball machine. The games ma Hines now have tickets you win to exchange for prizes. Extreme environmentally friendly and they should really look into that. - Wildscot96 contributionsI went to the bar and asked for three games of bowling. The staff member was very nice and polite and gave me the three games for £21. I went to lane 16. I entered my name which is wildscot and put the bumpers on. As, I played the three games everything was great. The balls would go down and come back in good time and knocking down the tins was really fun.
However, why I am giving 8/10 instead of 10/10 is because at times I think about three times or so, I would throw the ball down the lane and when it would come throw my second go the tins would be miscounted.(let say I knocked down 9 pins. instead of 1 being left there would be two. I would still get the point for the first throw but if I didn't knock down the extra pin that was not meant to be there I would not get the point.
Overall, I did have a nice time bowling and I happy to go to tenpin bowling in the future. Highly recommend. Good value for money.Written 20 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
