Great for walking - beautiful views, some historical sites, flowers - you can spend the whole day there with family

Thé Pentland’s are so close to the city, but you’d think you were walking out in the middle of no where! Beautiful scenery and so peaceful. Plus it has its only little micro climate! Fascinating!

Seemed like everyone was doing Arthurs Seat so we made a late decision to do the crags instead. Absolutely spectacular but almost empty, it is highly recommended. Great views and plenty of places to stop and take it all in. Still an uphill climb but probably not as steep as the taller next door neighbour
