Fantastic relaxing day out! The Alpacas & the beautiful countryside views are so calming.. Each Alpaca had such a different personality & were all comic with their crooked teeth.. We had such a lovely day pottering round the country tracks with the Alpacas munching the trees & grass, it was a slow enjoyable walk & we could chat with each other & get interesting facts on Alpaca’s from Bob.. I definitely found it a stress relief to pat & cuddle the Alpacas & all the fresh air.. it was a perfect afternoon out! Gave to family for Xmas presents & they loved it too..

Come here often to walk/run. Very peaceful paths beside the river with chance of seeing wildlife in amongst the trees. Popular with dog walkers, families and those exercising. Can get muddy after rainfall but mostly okay if you stick to the main path. Close by to Blackford Hill, Blackford Pond and also Braid Hills. A lovely green space in the midst of the city.

Loved the farm as it was bigger than expected and had a wee Easter trail to look out for.
Only thing that annoyed me was the parking is clearly stated for blue badge holders only yet when I got there all the spaces were mainly taken by cars without blue badges.

Lovely relaxing open space with lots of wildlife and species of birds, could have spent all day here and I was lucky enough to see a nesting swan and her eggs, which was such a special moment.

Nicd and quite park and loch near to Holyrood. This loch provided water to Leith, now it's only full of wild life. Ideal for hang out, relax and have fun, it's not as popular as holyrood park and it's pretty calmed. Ideal for solos, young, families, adults and olders. There's plenty of people doing sport, playing with their pets or simply enjoying themselves far away from touristic places

Cramond is a good place to visit for a relaxing time by the sea, perhaps a pub lunch. You can take a gentle walk to the Cramond Falls, which are about 2m high. Don't set Google maps for the Falls (it took us to the wrong place). Set it for the River Almond Walkway. Or set it for Cramond and walk about half a mile.
