What an Experience! Robert was an excellent guide through the history of Edin Mill and Gin distillation. The location provided a unique and cozy environment that made ypu feel at home. The cocktails were delightful and designed to highlight the Love Gin. I noticed trip advisor says they arent open, but they very much are and worth the experience

A decent walk from Edinburgh train station, and the village is small and can only be viewed from the outside. But well worth to the walk along the river which was amazing.
Make sure you plan as there are no toilets close by.
We stopped at the west end bathroom's at Princes Gardens first.

What an absolutely magical experience! New Yorker here for the Taylor Swift concert who was hoping for a taste of Scotland - and we got a full meal! Mom and her 12 year old daughter loved the views, the animals, our delightful guide’s vast knowledge and the entire outing. Don’t pass this one by.

I did the guided tour and found this very informative and fun, Tahnee did an incredible job and answered all our questions thoroughly. The people seated in the rooms themselves were also incredibly helpful and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend.

    A great little island

The Abbey is in very good condition for its age and given its history

The island is fun to explore with it’s bird life and WW2 history

The actual best castle in Edinburgh. Amazing views of the city and a genuine castle ruins experience (rather than military museum after museum at Edinburgh Castle). Prepare to get lost in the passage ways and all the different staircases. A must see if you want a genuine Edinburgh experience. Do wear good shoes due to narrow steps and conditions after rain.
    I would highly recommend.

Absolutely delightful little cafe. The building is beautiful and theyve really embraced the charms of the old building. The staff were attentive and friendly. Inside the cafe you didn't feel like you were in the ultra busy royal mile area.
We all ordered hot drinks and a slice of cake and were very impressed. I was also very impressed with the range of vegan cakes and baked items!
Will definitely return to try the ice cream( I saw they had Parma violet flavoured ice cream which sounds dreamy!)

I love old cemeteries. I know NOTHING about Harry Potter but Tom Riddles’ Grave is here. Character inspiration from father or son? They are both buried in the same spot so who knows. This is a beautiful cemetery. There is an excellent chance to see the Flodden Wall here. The I tension of the wall was to protect the city. You can also see a good example of cages over graves to deter grave robbing.

Take your time touring and getting information from the lovely guides positioned throughout the house. Try to precooked at it is simpler. If you are lucky the spiral staircase will be open to the magnificent rooftop views.
Make sure you use the cafe as the food was delicious.
Take one of the walks. We did the spring walk and there are extra points of interest scattered along the walk. We even got to see deer in the park next door.

Whatever your favourite cinema is, The Dominion will surpass it.

    Why?

    - great location
    - the most amazing reclining seats ever… think DOUBLE BED!
    - remarkable audio
    - licensed bar
    - friendly staff
    - a sense of tradition and pride
    - great value tickets

It really is the best cinema I have ever visited.
