We made it to the top and back down in about an hour on a glorious sunny day. This hike is extremely popular and moderately challenging. The views along the way are stunning, though the overuse of the trails are quite obvious. It gets crowded at the top and the rocks are slippery, so be careful. Great hike - do it.

The best part is the camera obscura at the top!
The rest is fun and interesting as well, but really overpriced. With small children it is annoying to have to walk all through the exhibit room to get yo the next one.

I loved this tour, it was informative and funny. Beth was an excellent guide and I've learnt loads about this hidden part of Edinburgh's history. Definitely recommend this!

Can't remember last time we visited but married a soldier 45yrs ago, interest started then. Being an army wife for 6yrs taught me an awful lot. We're both into folk music so a great deal of bagpipe music is Scottish, Northern England and Northern Irish music. We worked with people from all these places doing 2yrs 6mths in N Ireland and from getting married we've both thoroughly enjoyed going up there any chance we could. Good idea for kids interested in forces male or female, drs or nurses, for example RAMC puts a bit order into your life.

The ‘Blood and Guts’ tour was BY FAR the BEST tour we did during our time in Edinburgh! Gerry our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic storyteller. He entertained and educated us for over an hour, the depth of his knowledge was astounding. Thank you for an unforgettable experience Gerry!

This was a fun, interactive experience on the history of the Earth (5+ billion years of it). Many school groups when we went, but plenty to keep adults engaged. The planetarium shows are a bit of a mixed bag. The are many during the day, some are a little repetitive and some are a little bit of a downer (I agree that climate change is bad and we need to do more right now, I'm not sure we are all doomed :)

Went to Stewart Brewing,Beer Kitchen on Sunday to make a half batch of Beer. This was a Xmas voucher from my three Daughters,my eldest daughter came with me.So the Guy who took us through the process was Bee,he was easy going and very friendly, very professional and a lot of fun. This is a great day out, lots of hands on stuff and learning how to brew a beer. There is a great little bar next door too, where you can get beer,Coffee and Pizza(you are given tokens for the beer).Looking forward to the bottling of the beer in 5 weeks time and the tasting. This is the second visit to the beer kitchen,I would highly recommend going.

This is our second visit and it was amazing. Bob is very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. The scenery is fantastic looking down over Edinburgh.
I was walking with Praline and he was gentle and enjoyed a good munch of grass.

Really interesting tour of this small craft brewery in Edinburgh. Alex and Ellis were brilliant, told us interesting facts about beer making and the whole brewing process. Really cool to see how dedicated they are to making something special. And we got to taste so many of the beers - delicious! We’ll def be searching for them in the Netherlands. Thanks for the great afternoon guys!

We had a brilliant time completing the Secret Lab room. We escaped in 52 minutes with five players, and there was loads to do in the room. Lots of the puzzles were creative and cleverly designed, and the little humorous and surprising elements really added to the experience. Rachel was a lovely and helpful games master and we’d definitely recommend this room, and come back to play the others! Thank you Locked In! :)
