On a few days visiting the Cotswolds we popped into the NT place. Not been before. What a delight. We unfortunately didn't arrive till the end of the day so only managed an hour. Will most definitely go back for a full day, which it deserves. So much colour in the lovely cottage gardens. Brilliant

The colours of neighbouring flowering plants are so well co-ordinated. Around every corner is some new delight. Some of the paths are a little steep and uneven but it is worth persevering as far as you can to make the most of the amazing views, both within the garden itself and also out across the valley below.

I did not go in, I just took photos from outside. Afternoon sun made photo opportunity. Loved the colors.

The views are terrific and the ascent is comfortable. The NT walk from the Trig point is easy to follow but there are some steep steps on the way back

Has interesting information about this monument inside the structure, which is great if you are able bodied. As a wheelchair user I was unable to access the site an£ had to try and hear someone read the info to me whilst battling traffic noise

The gentlemsn working on 27th July was amazing.
We spent a few £ buying information leaflets, which were very interesting and useful. However, he was actually the highlight of our visit to the village. Fun, informative and enthusiastic I only wish I knew his name so could personally thank him.
And yes we did visit the memorial garden.

It was like a scene from the Secret Garden.

A tantilising view through a wrought iron gate. Inside a compact garden and the history of Ernest Wilson. Quiet, places sit, an interesting history of one of England's finest Plant Hunters. If in CC go, if not, don't worry.

We almost missed this church. From the road one would not notice that inside the narrow lane between people's house, there is a church. However, we noticed it when we arrived at our hotel before time and we made a survey of that little area.

It was a very lovely, warm welcome to everyone. Inside there was a place for those who like to write down one's pray. It was a very nice, little church that it was so special to us.

I also took the photos of the proverbs that were in the church which were so warm, and good to remember.

It would be nice to visit this church in this little village. This church was like a hidden "gem" for those who like serenity, and peace with a warm welcome atmosphere.

The Gallery at the Guild is a cooperative with 28 members that display there artwork on a rotational basis. When we were there was an exhibition by 3 of the members with ceramics, photography and silk painting on display. The art work was quite impressive. Entry to the gallery is free but, clearly, the art work is available to buy. One of the exhibitors provided us with an interesting explanation of the way the cooperative works.

Imposing house sitting on the edge of the town. Wasn’t open on the day we visited so took a walk up the road and got some fabulous photos looking across the fields.
