Great time wandering around Altstadt. Many things to do around the town. Definitely worth a day or overnight trip.

Whilst the place was under renovation and there is only an interim exhibition, it is still worth our way to make this 30 min trip (from Nuremberg Old Town) to visit this place

A sombre place documenting the propaganda that Hitler used to rouse the people into War

    Very meaningful place

This is one of the biggest and most famous X'mas Market in Germany and probably the world. The whole market is divided into a few sections with one more for kids. There is so many stuff to see and eat at the market.

Sunday bells tolling last quite a while. Interior being renovated but still worth a visit. No visitors during services.

This s a fantastic zoo, it is very large and sprawling with an enormous number of animals all well kept. It is very well priced and there are several cafes on site that are also very well priced. Highly recommended !!

A must-see while in Nurnberg. My most impressive experience, was the effort to rebuild what had been destroyed during WWII. They did a great job in reconstruction, evidenced when you climb the tower and see the photos of before.

I looked forward to this walking tour and a glimpse into a recent history which is still fresh today. The thing that surprised me was the scale of it all and the fact that Hitler was allowed to exploit it as he did in the 1930's. The vast grounds have his mark all over them.
I realize how difficult it is to decide what to do with these sites, some are deteriorating due to neglect, but they are still a chilling reminder of a recent past and an uncomfortable lesson to future generations.

A very interesting and detailed synopsis of a fascinating time in history. Be aware that Courtroom 600 can only be viewed through windows as it is being renovated at the time of this review. Nonetheless, it remains moving to be where history was made. The audio guide is excellent and informative, we spent just over 2 hours there and took in most of what was offered.

The medieval and Renaissance galleries are the pride of this museum, with important works by the likes of Albrecht Dürer, who was born in Nuremberg, and Lucas Cranach d. A. A small exhibition of depictions of the rhinoceros in the 16th to 18th centuries is charming. The 19th century gallery is closed, alas, but there is plenty to see even without it.

The layout and explanations are excellent - it is just a few stops on the u-bahn from the centre but well worth the hop. You will be left with much to think about and for €6 it is amazing value. To be recommended for anyone interested in WW2 factual details.

Fantastic retrospective on the importance and value of play in our lives. We saw just as many adults as children, and I appreciated the amount of exhibits and hands on displays geared for all ages. At the time there was a special exhibit on racism in toys that was also super interesting. Overall, we easily spent a couple of hours going through all the displays and reliving our childhoods. Minor tip: if you visit other museums on the same day your admission ticket may get you a discounted admission to other locations on the list.

A really big museum with a mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits.
Lots of interesting background history to accompany the transport.
    Well worth a visit.

Great to get something to eat and buy fresh produce in this market. To top it all of, you will have a view of Frauenkirche.

As a lover of AD this location is probably a must-see, but aside from serving as his place of residence, not much else specific to AD exists here. As other reviewers have noted, the narration is clear about what visitors are seeing (or not seeing). We attended with discounted admission from also visiting the Spielzeug (Toy) Museum the same day, and with the provided headphones thought the visit was a good value.

Most amazing is that it wasn't destroyed, in one of the usual attempts to remove history. The temperamental Austrian with the mustache was there 90 years ago, and anybody can have their opinion on that. But we should never remove history, because without it, we can't learn from it. It is being partly rebuilt and repaired, for memory's sake, so we can learn. Good, but the danger is that we say."Oh how awful, but that was many years ago", and then forget the things happening in many parts of the world later.
