The owner of a nearby restaurant recommended I visit Madrid & Darracott and very fortunately I was able to book a tasting for the last night of their annual Sherry Week. What a delightful experience. I learned a lot about wine in the company of locals, expats, and tourists alike. 100% would do again.

We chances upon this bar on our night out in la Latina! The ambience and music is phenomenal. The cocktails were delicious! We had the sangria and White Russian and the spicy margarita. They were all great! We only had the queso (which was just okay in my opinion) but we weren’t here for the food. Just the drinks and ambience and it was worth it!

We were the first customers...we popped in not long after it had opened. This is a nice place with a good selection of craft beers, many brewed in Spain. We tried a couple of different ones each, and thought they were all good.

Marula Cafe, a veteran of the Madrid nightlife continues to be as good as ever with wonderful funk, classic disco, dance, soul, jazz and so on. Live bands play throughout the week (check the schedule) and the best DJ's play until the early hours of the morning. Open 7 days a week. Cheers to Marula!

What an amazing carrot cake and the venue is specially decorated to the 80’s lovers!

I’ll come back to try the other cakes 🍰!

We visited last weekend on a trip to Madrid. Excellent, small and friendly bar with some excellent beers! And other options if beer isn't your thing. Tried a couple of beautiful stouts. Will certainly visit again next time in Madrid.

On a Sunday afternoon this was the only place I could find a table. Great service and nice to be slightly out of the crowds. The above was substantial and was less than 10 euros.

Unfortunately, this place no longer exists. It was one my favorite places in Madrid to have a drink a listen to a little flamenco in a truly authentic atmosphere. Sad...

Went in here thinking it would be a Cabaret in fact the night we visited was a Burlesque dancer! In between performances 70s and Soanish disco. Good laugh and performances were great, however drinks a bit on the pricey side

We discover this club try to run out from the rain. We just Jumped in without any reservation. Even that the lady try to Arrange us the table and suggest good wine (the bottle of wine just 16eur!! Perfect) and the atmosphere was like a family . It was most friendly place. Try it!

Suitable for tourists. Why I said that ? First, it's typical Spanish food (except for some Spanish flavor Chinese noodle Wok..which I think it's too on purposely "agridulce"), the eggs with French patato covered by Spanish ham and the fried balls (croquetas) and tostas with gulas is not a bad choice. It was the first time I tried Rabo de toro (bull's tail ) , so don't have other references, but for me, it's ok, somewhat like the carne mechada that I tried with arepas..it's not cheap actually, a hamburger costs nearly 10 Euro, which can be found way cheaper and with the same quality in many other restaurants..in a word, the food is delicious and typical, for a tourist, this price is acceptable and worthwhile.
