Great market, very friendly with fantastic range of produce. Craft stalls, food stalls, bars etc. Much less touristy than San Miguel (less flashy, cheaper and more authentic).

You should always go where the locals recommend. So we went to La Lopez in Mercado Anton Martin. The food is excellent, ad is the wine and beer. The staff are really friendly and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Nice Gus Van Sant exhibition, it's not so popular as other museums so it didn't have a lot of people, we could quietly see the exhibition.

I love this place for many reasons.

First, the owner and the other woman from the staff member are incredibly nice. They are attentive, generous and you can ask them about the wines they offer. They will reply you with enthusiasm and detail.

They give you with the drink, always, without exception, a delicious homemade free 'tapa'. They have always different types of wines from different grape varieties.

The ambient is cozy and unique. Very genuine. I've noticed regular customers that look like they feel at home, friendly ambient.

The owner is an artist and you can also ask her about her work, also see by yourself some of her works since they are exhibited in the bar.

Their food is incredibly cheap if you judge their quality: really good cecina, cheese, lacón...Awesome products to eat and cheap.

I can always chill out there reading or speaking with my boyfriend...In this place, there is never a rush, you are not pushed to finish, pay and go away. You are invited to relax.

I believe: 'La vida tiene sentidos' ('Life has senses') reflects the philosophy, the way of seeing the life of its owner.

I've stayed in a hostel in the neighborhood on my tryp and it's been very useful to buy these solid shampoos and soap that have accompanied me in my backpack all my trip
