    Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands
    3 couples enjoyed a private customized tour with Micaela that was simply outstanding. I had booked with Micaela 9 years earlier with 12 of my girlfriends so I knew we would be in good hands. Via our private boat we toured the Palace and Gardens on Isola Madre, then a lovely lunch at Casabella on Isola Pescatori and then a tour of the palace on Isola Bella. Micaela shared the history of the Borromean Family and their lovely islands located on Lake Maggiore. In my opinion Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta are so much more beautiful and interesting than Lake Como. If I am the area again I will definitely engage Micaela.

    Private tour of Sacred Mount and San Giulio on Lake Orta with Micaela
    Our private tour of of the Sacred Mount in Lake Orta and the Island of San Giulio with Micaela began with her husband Davide picking us up from our hotel in Stresa. The tour was lovely and so informative. We stayed to eat and shop in Orta before Davide whisked us back to our hotel. I would recommend this tour with Micaela and Davide as a private driver to anyone.

    Simple, effective and pleasant
    We visited the Lake with friends from Milan and took this excursion together. It was perfect for us given our limited time. Visited two of the Islands Isolated Madre and Isola dei pescatori where enjoyed an excellent seafood lunch at the Northern end of the Island. (very reasonable and) . The great thing with this boat was we could get off and on with pickups every hour as the boat loops around.

    Fantastic Tour
    Fantastic tour. Micaela was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Our 7 and 10 year old daughters enjoyed it as well

    Great experience with Cesarina
    We were quite nervous but Gisella gave us an unforgettable experience and even took pictures of us. I would definitely recommend Cesarina to anyone visiting italy!

    Efficient, reliable
    On time; service between Madre and Bella was full, back up boat came within 10min.
    Last sector back to Stresa in a posh comfortable speedboat.
    Very good service and friendly skippers.

    An excellent experience. Charming!
    A top tour of the villas and villages of the southern part of Lake Maggiore. Guide Micaela was outstanding. Her knowledge of the villas and their history was outstanding as was her information about the history of the villages. Beautiful boat, cruise and experience.

    Steep access ramps
    Beware, the access to the small boats is down a carpet covered concrete slope, then onto a platform to reach the boat.
    No handrails down the slope and it is steeper than permitted in uk.
    Amazed that such a busy form of transport has no safe access from the ramp at Stresa.

    Great experience, awesome guide!!
    We loved our experience with Micaela and thought the Isola Bella tour was spectacular! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Micaela was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

    Beautiful
    Beautiful scenery, fantastic guide and Prosecco. Such a fun way to spend an hour! Highly recommend taking a tour with Michaela, she’s very sweet and knowledgeable.

    Fabulous
    We really enjoyed our tour. It was great. We were in Stresa so the boat ride was very short. I would have liked to see more of the lake

    A great excursion from Stresa!
    We had a wonderful day touring Lake Como and Bellagio from Stresa with Davide!
    Having a driver took so much of the hectic logistics out of our trip and allowed us to see as much as possible during our brief stay in the Lakes region.
    Bellagio was beautiful and definitely worth a stop if you have a few days.
    Davide is an excellent driver and a great communicator. His English was very good and we found him to be very knowledgeable and pleasant.
    His van was also very new, clean and comfortable.
    He arrived at our hotel promptly as expected and picked us up at each meeting point at the exact time he had indicated. The communication was top notch!! He was great with WhatsApp too.
    We were able to maximize our day as well as see a neighboring town during our visit to Stresa.

    Highly recommend!

    A great Lake Maggiore private boat experience
    Our private boat tour from Stresa with Micaela was a fabulous way to see Lake Maggiore and felt like a millionaire experience but at a very fair price.
    We met Micaela at the boat and she was a convivial hostess with very good English (as opposed to our terrible Italian!) and soon realised that we were happy just enjoying the stunning lake scenery in the late afternoon with a glass of wine in hand. Micaela had suggested dinner at Fisherman's Island which couldn't have been better. The setting overlooking the lake was beautiful and the meal was similarly very good. The restaurant provided a boat to return us to the mainland which was almost as much fun as the trip over to the island. All in all, a great tour and I'd recommend anyone who visits Lake Maggiore to seek Micaela out as she was also very helpful putting the booking together in addition to providing a fabulous experience.

    A perfect morning in Orta - personal driver from Stresa
    Lake Orta and the view of Isola San Giulio are up there with Italy’s must see’s.
    Staying in Stresa on Lake Maggiore, transport options to Orta San Giulio are limited in October.
    Blue Taxi was perfect. Davide collected me at my hotel for a three hour morning itinerary. First to Sacro Monte for the chapels and the spectacular view of the lake then he explained how to take the 10 minute walk down to the town, how to get a boat to the island and back and promptly collected me in the main square for the trip back to Stresa.
    Highly recommended driver service.
