We loved it! On the lower floor, you have endless opportunities to buy local food, spices, and the rest, and in the upper part of the market there are many different restaurants where you can try typical Italian food or something foreign. The place is very homely, the people are friendly, and it is definitely worth visiting.

Leonardo is so nice and helpful! I needed a new pair of shoes very bad as the ones I was wearing were very worn. He not only helped me find a pair perfect to my size and style but also did a quick refurbishment on the pair I was wearing and they looked much better after. Very happy to have come here and can’t recommend enough!

Florence is the city for leather and Jimmy’s is the place to get it in Florence. I highly recommend this leather shop.
The designer Mario helped me out in the store trying on several jackets. He was very good at picking out just the right styles and sizes. They didn’t have my size in the one I wanted so he said they would make it for me and ship it to my house in less than 2 weeks. It arrived just as promised about 12 days later. There was a very minor problem with the jacket and so I emailed Jimmy. He went way above and beyond to make things right and exceeded my expectations!

Florence holds close to 80% of all the Renaissance art in the world. But that’s not all the art that lives in Florence. The city holds a number of current day artists that bring the Italian flavor, warmth, historical context, and vigor to their work. Roberto and Roman are those types of artists and they’re full of life, humor and talent. I’ve been to their studio a couple of times and enjoyed their company and their art immensely. Once your eyes are opened to their work you’ll see it all over Florence. a pair of brothers that are making their mark on Florence today. I’ll definitely go back. Visit if you can, it’s worth the trip.

We visited this wonderful shop with our private walking tour guide. We're so glad she introduced us to this stunning workshop! The artisans were welcoming and friendly and showed us how they create their unbelievable works of art.

The showroom is like a museum of the highest quality craftsmanship. What a treat to experience this rare artform that deserves preserving.

I was in the city in June on a trip with friends. I was looking for gifts but I didn’t want anything cheap. We came across this store and we were awed by the beauty of the work. The owner was just unloading the kiln. She does everything herself, design, painting & firing. She captures the beauty of her region and it was just what I was looking for. I bought pieces right on site. And ordered more to be shipped to my home in Canada. They all arrived quickly and safely. I am so very pleased.

We happened upon this place but had read a bit about Clet having seen his street sign art around town. Our first view was the Hammer and Sickle sign that was a Dead End sign. We thought it was so unusual and after a bit of Googling we figured out that it was street art. When we were on our way to the Piazza de Michelangelo we just happened upon this store- I thought it was just a gift shop but turns out it is his studio. And I just realized after getting home that Clet himself was in the studio that day just sitting at his desk in the back- we didn't even know what he looked like so didn't realize it was him! The store has a good selection of magnets, stickers and stuff that provide a fun memory of our trip!

You know how when you go to a great museum sometimes you wish you could buy a ancient trinket? Well here's your chance. At least it's a chance to see how much an antique helmet or sword or gun would set you back. It's so great. Tiffany lamps? yes Beautiful china? Yes 2 stores run by great people. We'll go back. And we even bought something so it's not too outrageous.

You can find a wide array of clothing and household goods there at really reasonable prices. Clothing in abundance. Be aware you won't find high fashion designer clothes but you will find an interesting array of really inexpensive clothing - shirts, sweaters, jackets, socks, etc. I was disappointed, however, that the vendors begin packing up around noon, particularly if it is raining. Plan to be there early.

I walked over to this place to bring something for my daughter. I waiting in line outside. Once inside it looks cool. It’s supposed to be the oldest perfume store in the world. I bought her a bottle after smelling a lot of them. It was interesting.

On a drizzly cool afternoon, we stopped at a warm, friendly little wine shop in Florence. The salesperson asked about what we liked and had us taste several wonderful wines, We settled on a few that we had shipped back to our home; they tasted even better there. Wish we had ordered more!
