We (me and my husband) visited Switzerland for the first time. We are from the USA, and it had been a dream of mines since I was 14. So, I must say my expectations were high. I will begin by saying overall it was one of the best decisions ever. The air was clean, the streets were clean, the water was clean. We met a very nice lady on the train who mentioned to us that a good friend was a travel ….however she was on vacation during the time of our stay so we venture out on our own for a tour guide. We ran across the Best of Switzerland tours.

First let me comment on our driver Jose. Jose was an extremely skilled driver and safe driver. My mother always had this phrase (be careful you are carrying precious cargo, when someone was responsible for getting us from point A to point B). well, I felt like that with Jose. On the day of our tour, it was very cold, wet, and rainy, and yet with Jose there were no slips and slides, no sudden stops, no having to back up because you turned to sharp, even took us down some incredibly tight spaces and maneuvered around cars like they were bicycles on the side of the road. Thank you, Jose, for keeping us all safe.

Monica was a delightful tour guide who obviously had guided many tourists during the bus ride in the city, to the walking tour in Old Town. It was kind of drizzly at this point and she used her bright red umbrella to hold up to keep a group of probably 50 together. That was ingenious. Here is where the disappointment came in, it was so cold, and so wet (rainy) and the winds were so high that for me personally it was a horrible day for walking 20 minutes. Ok I get it, but we can’t predict the weather. But even with the bad weather we were excited for the second part of the tour which was a boat ride (a cruise). We all lined up with anticipation, and then waited and waited. Monica came to let us know something was wrong with the boat and if they did not get it fixed, we would catch public transportation over to the last leg of the tour, which was the chocolate factory. Well, there we were all crammed on a city bus (which by the way wasn’t a horrible experience since it was also clean, no smell of dirt, smoke, or other unpleasant smells, no dirty carpet and etc). Bummer on no boat ride because I was really looking forward to it and was also quite hungry by this time since there was no eating or drinking on the bus (understandably so), and I really needed to potty (which would also been a welcomed opportunity). But overall, Monica with her sweet voice and calming spirit still made the tour very pleasurable and as we all reached the Lindt chocolate factory everything was so much better. I mean who doesn’t love chocolate. Thanks Monica.

This tour was fantastic. Greg, our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and could convey all his knowledge easily. This tour gave you an overall insight into the history of Zürich and ended with a fabulous lake boat ride and gondola lift up to the top of the small mountain.

This was a fun trip with a great and very entertaining guide. He made sure we got pictures we’d never think to take. Going thru the ice castle and getting up to the top of the mountain with all that snow was a lot of fun. Be aware though that It’s very crowded even in May and the way down by Gondola is ridiculously mismanaged and crammed.

A well organised day trip from from Zurich to Interlaken and Grindelwald. You get a comfortable bus, with some information along the scenic journey from the guide and a photo stop at a lake. We had an hour free time in Interlaken first. There isn’t a lot to do here but it’s a pretty town and paragliders to watch. Lots of watch and chocolate shops! The main attraction of the day is Grindelwald. We did the cable car up First and would highly recommended it. Stunning views at the top and there was still lots of snow in May! There’s a wraparound walkway and a restaurant/bar so you can spend some time up there enjoying the views. You then get the train back to Interlaken to meet the bus there. It was nice to do the train as well as the bus and you’re given the tickets beforehand so it’s all very easy. Would recommend if you’ve only got a short time in Switzerland!

This an excellent full tour . The bus trip to Lucerne is lovely and the free time to wander perfect. . The return trip to the top of Mt Pilatus On The 3 modes of transport was spectacular - you can even hear the cue bells On the way up. Free time at the top is easily filled . The boat trip at the end in Lake Lucerne was beautiful . The guide Dario is excellent very informative and one of the best I have ever experienced.
I highly recommend this value for money tour.

I had a great tour, I really enjoyed seeing a lot of Zurich. Since I only had 24 hours, this was perfect. Marco was fun & knowledgeable. Zurich is a beautiful city.

Took the day trip to Interlaken and Grindelwald. Interlaken is a very quaint town in a valley. Very beautiful place to walk around and spend a few hours. Most spectacular view was watching the Paragliders. Grindelwald is absolutely God's country. The town is surrounded by the Alps. If want to take a relaxing day trip, this one is highly recommended.

Let me start with - this tour is well worth it & recommend
    The tour is busy
Have cash to pay for boat ride tickets
Be prepared to be time limited to squeeze it all in to half a day.
The falls are very popular and a lot of people to navigate and shiffle through.
Our guide was pushy for all the right reasons to ensure attendees got the best out of the tour.

This was a spur of the moment tour for an open day in our trip to Zurich. The Heidi part was really more for my wife, but I enjoyed the alps and the story of Heidi.

The stop in Lichtenstein was ok. It was really more a drive to a tourist spot with a short amount of time to walk around. There wasn't really much to see. If you want your passport stamped with Lichtenstein's stamp, be sure to bring 3 francs in cash. Minimum card charge is 10 francs.

Beautiful walk through old town. Eugenie was very knowledgeable about the history and culture. I would like to have gone inside of some old churches.

Wow what fun! Zurich sites pointed out while enjoying fabulous fondue (from Adler - our hotel said one of the best in Zurich), steamed potatoes, pickled veggies and a nice bottle of white wine. There was just the two of us so very comfortable. If you are a group of 4 with taller people, might be a bit cramped. The tuk tuk is set up for any weather so sit back and enjoy!

Anastasia was an amazing guide. We had such a great time in Old Town Zurich. She answered every question we asked in a thoughtful way. She showed us hidden gems and made the tour so much fun.

We were fortunate to have a beautiful day on the mountains. It was made even better by our guide Kid. Funny, attentive, and he all around made this a best experience. Memories that will last forever and pictures, so many pictures. Kid orchestrated a tour for the ages.
