- SCBonnerSouth Wales84 contributionsWe holidayed in Kos from 14th to September 2022 and during this time we participated in two trips with Uncharted Escapes - the first trip was the Off Road 4 x 4 Safari Kefalos and the second was the 4 x 4 jeep safari Kos. We booked the second having had such a great time on the first. Our guide / driver for both was Steve who had a wealth of interesting knowledge to share with us and was absolutely fantastic. I hope that there is a way that this will be passed on to him (tell him it's the couple from near Tondu, Wales :) and he should remember). Also on the tour was Effrazini (Frozo) who was also amazing. We really did have two great days. We saw so much of the island that you certainly wouldn't have seen without going off on the jeeps. It was beautiful. Lunch on both days was great also. These guys work so hard ensuring that the tourists see the real Kos and nothing seemed too much trouble. It was as though they were only taking you out and you didn't get the impression that they do the same thing every day of the week. They were friendly, interesting and took great care of everyone. Thank you so much to Steve, Affrazini and the rest of the team (possibly Antonio and Claudia, although I'm not sure). They were the best two days of our ten day holiday. They are always very accommodating when flights are delayed. This trip my flight landed early and I thought I might have to wait, but my driver was waiting in the arrivals hall. One of my best days on the island , the staff are friendly and brilliant with children, so much patience yet authoritative with their rules , they want you to have the best yet safest time on the boat. The MC sat and made time for eveyone on the boat even asking for a hold
Of my 1 year old ( image attached ) after stealing a crisp he was about to eat (my lad was not impressed)
The food was lovely and well presented , they kept the information interesting and played some absolutely brilliant tunes throughout ,
We stopped at 2 beautiful islands that we got to explore for upto 1.5 hours each . They worked excellent as a team and each brought that friendly
pirate feel to a brilliant and beautiful vessel .
They adapted well to the every changing weather and changed their usual location for swimming to a much safer and settled area , ensuring we still
Received the same service and expeditions . Thoroughly enjoyed it , don’t be put off going

It was far from it and took us less than 30 minutes to collect our tickets (that we’d booked online) and get through passport control. I’d took less time than that on the return journey.
We didn’t want a ‘tour’ trip where you get bundled off to a place with the intention of you buying products so this trip was ideal:transport only. The boat was quick and the staff friendly and helpful.
On arrival in Bodrum there are a large amount of shops, restaurants etc which were great for souvenir shopping. I would recommend walking about 10 minutes further into Bodrum to visit the market. It is above the bus/coach station and has a lot of produce (which you can sample before you buy), soaps, Turkish delight etc at a lower cost to those on the main roads. All of the locals we spoke to were friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because the booking confirmation from the tour operator suggested we needed to be at the port for 9.30am and then messaged the evening before the trip to say we needed to get there for 8:30am, ready for the boat to leave at 9:30am. The transfers were on time and easy.
The Waterpark is awesome and has something for everyone.
Any questions we had, we got a super quick response from the organisers.
Finally, we thought it was great value.
We’ll be booking again when we go back to Kos!

The boat ride was lovely; ours was only half full, so we had room to move around. The volcano was a novel experience and one to tell others about back home! We did not find the climb bad but would advise going straight to the volcano off the bus to allow for a coffee / cool drink afterwards at the (very reasonably priced) cafe back up the top. Our guide, Martha told us many interesting facts when on the coach to the villages and volcano. Her recommendation of restaurant for lunch was also spot on and worthy of a visit. We had a very good day and would certainly recommend to others. - KGPoland6 contributionsA wonderful experience, especially for those trying diving for the first time at all. A must try. The care of the crew and instructors was excellent. We felt mega looked after, they made sure we understood everything and had fun on our first dive. At least a minimal knowledge of English is necessary, but everything is explained in a very accessible and simple way. Even when you are highly stressed, they take care of your comfort. We had a briefing on the deck to start with, then swam to a shallow spot where we practised further and then swam deeper. The views are amazing (remember, though, that it was our first time and what we saw was most satisfying). Afterwards we could opt for snorkelling or a second dive, extra paid. I heard that experienced people were also satisfied. I for one am glad that this was my first dive. For those worried about seasickness during the route to the destination, tablets are offered. The Springs and Lindos itself were amazing and George stopped off on the road a few times for amazing memorable photos.
