What travellers are saying
- Larisa S13 contributionsIt is very nice beach. We were at the end of September and a lot of coffee shops were closed. However, we really enjoyed very clean and warm water and picturesque views.Written 27 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dragan ĐNovi Sad, Serbia66 contributionsGreat beach but overcrowded. It is small for such a huge number of visitors. Beach bar music is slightly too loud. Water is awesome, nice white sand and some nice natural shade.Written 8 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Daniel b3 contributionsVery clear water, nice beach, a lot of choices (beach bars & beach restaurants) but it was more crowded than we expected.Written 3 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rich LeungLos Angeles, CA3 contributionsToo many kids in a shallow shole could be a bit… ‘dirty’ if you know what I mean.
However, the convenience of a restaurant nearby (Melia) and 2 food trucks selling small snacks, makes up for the downside.
Arrive by 9am and should not have trouble finding parking. I suggest park on road going into the shaded tree area to avoid traffic jam and extra insurance with car rental company 😅Written 22 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The water is beautiful and the sand can be seen even at 2 meters when you enter the water.
The deck chairs are beautiful.
The most beautiful place for rest and swimming.

- leylekLondon, UK55 contributionsI guess one of the best beaches in Halkidiki.
Great sandy beach with beautiful beach clubs and a stunning sunset.
There are two beach clubs with delicious food and music.Written 3 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. To get in the water rocks have to be crossed.Once used to it especially when wearing sunglasses you can see paths between the rocks making an easier access against climbing across the rocks.Once through the water is beautiful and clear and the bottom is all sand. The bay itself is pretty with views of foliage and hills. The water was not too cold in June.Written 7 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MrsLHBLondon, UK33 contributionsNot an undiscovered gem at all, very busy but we liked it all the same
Beach is pretty water is clean and lovely temperature
We went to Salt beach bar and sat on front row - 50 euros minimum spend, drinks and food were good, service a tiny bit slow
They have funky music on all day, not too loud, I liked the vibeWritten 14 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Antigoni hotel restaurant offers a fancy interpretation of the greek cuisine and an elegant presentation.

The beach is nice, but deep after 2-3 meters. There were half meter waves, so with kids was little difficult.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - IoanaBellaBucharest, Romania38 contributionsA large beach, not crowded. Till 10 o’clock we find free sunbeds at Gyrosmania Tavern. A small tavern which offers a tasty pork and chiken gyros. There is no music, which is amazing. The prices are ok (4 euro a pita gyros).Written 25 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Danail DSofia, Bulgaria271 contributionsIt is long relatively narrow sandy beach. It slopes gently into the sea so is appropriate for kids. The water is clean, clear and calm (especially in the morning).
As it is a town beach there is a lot of eateries and cafes with adjacent beach umbrellas and sunbeds, but also enough free place. It was not at all crowded (at least this year with the weaker season).Written 11 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
