Worth a visit if you’re interested. The nearby town of Moria is a network of tight little streets to navigate through and the other side is a track suitable for a Lombard rally stage. The good news is that this is free, quiet and no car parking issues.

We strolled through here today. Excellent video explaining the site, the excavation, and the history. Detailed dioramas are very well done. Visitors can walk among the ruins, some of which are partially reconstructed.

This place is very easy to find because it is on the mainroad Mytilini to Molyvos and just few kilometers before Kalloni. From this mainroad to the temple there is about 1 km..

Not much to see but very old, maybe the best ancient temple to see in Lesvos.

It was never said this is an Aphrodite temple, but just Mesa temple (Mesa is the place).
