We really enjoyed experiencing the Harpa theater and and learning about Icelandic history in a fun way.
The venue is a small intimate theater in the Harpa concert hall, and the talented, hard working actors are passionate about their subject matter.

This concert hall very close to city centre is the heart of the concerts for all music lovers and Iceland has produced some really great talented musicians and Icelandic music is quite famous around the world.
Harpa Concert House is a Gem in the middle of Reykjavik with exceptional views of the harbour, sea and mountains north of Reykjavik.

We attended the New Years' Concert which was a very beautiful combination of songs and explanations about the Icelandic culture.
There are also some quality souvenir outlets as well as the opera and theater which seems to be well attended in Reykjavik.
A 45 minute show with horses and traditional fairy-tales, this theatre gives you a perfect introdction to explore the wonders of the Icelandic breed.
The Horse Theater here is unique and will blow you away -- it tells a story with those beautiful Icelandic horses as the actors!
The one-man show playfully makes fun and use of the stereotypes of many nationalities (mostly in the EU) relative to the Icelandic culture so I felt like I learned about other countries too.
The theater is beautiful and modern, with stadium seating.
The Freezer Theatre Snaefellsbaer
I walked in to a large crowd (including a large group of theater students from California) enjoying complimentary wine and beer, then walked into the show HERO which was really impressive, funny and informative.
The theatre is small and intimate, yet comfortable.
I got to witness one of the first ever shows and it blew me away.
Improv Iceland Reykjavik
I have seen few of Improv Iceland's shows and they are always great fun.
This was a wonderful concert, put on by a world class orchestra in a world class concert hall.
Finally in Reykjavik when an orchestral concert was performed at Harpa.
They also produce awesome children's theatre, which is a strong focus of the Icelandic theatre scene.
Local A List actors performing in a wide array of Season Theatre offerings.
