The Rotunda of the Church of St John the Baptist in Xewkija is one of the most famous sites on the island of Gozo as it can be seen from so many spots on the island.

Heading southeast away from Xlendi, there are fantastic walks for miles along dramatic cliffs, where you'll find gorgeous views and places to sunbathe in peace.

Today the site contains churches, the Cathedral of Gozo, and other historic buildings.

This one is situated between San Blas and Dahlet Qorrot and is a really lovely place to walk to - enjoying the views over the wonderful coastline whilst reflecting on the history and heritage of Gozo.
The tower itself has been well restored but the best part is definitely the amazing views of the coast from the roof.
